All of the Walgreens in my area are currently in the process of being remodeled. I was in one the other day and have been told that Walgreens has decided to discontinue selling the Milani cosmetics line. Also, there is no longer a space on the WnW display for the 8-pan e/s palettes.

ReplyDeleteI was at CVS last night and saw an Essence of Beauty stand alone display for Limited Edition scent of Vanilla Wishes. I am not sure if this is a standard scent they always release at the holiday time or a new one. I sprayed the shimmer body spray, it of couse got on my hand, and then I started walking around. Well I could not stop smelling my hand! I was shocked at how sweet it smelled. I went back to the display and actually read it. The scent is French Vanilla, Raspberry and musk! Ans better yet it ws buy 2 get 1 free and you get a free shimmer bag! The options were a Body Wash, Shimmer Spray, Body and Hand Lotion (thick), Body Lotion and Shimmer Body Lotion! I love this scent!

ReplyDeleteJust went to Walgreens to check out the clearances they have and I got Revlon Custom Creations Liquid Foundation for $2.59 (used $1 Walgreens Coupon in their "Make this Season Stunning" coupon book located at beauty counter) and Revlon Beyond Natural Liquid Foundation fo $2.29 (used another $1 counpon from same Walgreens coupon book).

ReplyDeleteNew Revlon core colors of nail polish spotted at Walgreens! Some of them look to be older colors re-named (including Perplex / Purplex with a new name). I picked up the nice medium green (similar to Essie Pretty Edgy) "Posh", and the polish similar to OPI's Katy Perry polish "Not Like the Movies", called "Smoldering". Lots of nice colors! Also look for $1 off coupon on Broadway or Kiss nail products @ Walgreens (ask about it at the beauty calendar - it's in a special flyer they have), and another $1 off coupon on the display = $2 off!

ReplyDeleteI was at Target today (in Oregon) and noticed that a bunch of Revlon products, including several shades of the Colorburst lipsticks, were on sale. I picked up Carnation for just $2.05! They also had the mineral blushes, Beyond Natural shade adjusting foundation, face primer, and a couple shades of nail polish really reduced.

There were 2 of each color and a row of the new pencil at the bottom. I picked up the grey and khaki colors. Can't wait to try them out!

I was just in my local Rite Aid and found a bunch of Revlon and Almay products on clearance for 75% off. Each tag has the specific item/shade that is on sale, it's not whole collections, just different colors. Here are some pictures I took (not pictures were a few shadows of the ColorBurst Lipstick and Super Lustrous Lipstick, a few powder blushes, and some random face products by Revlon)

ReplyDeleteYay G, your back. About CVS, the last time I went to CVS the manager told me to swipe my CVS card twice. Apparently CVS gives out 2nd coupons, but only after the 1st have gone through. Now when I did this, I got a 2nd batch of coupons that were completely different than the 1st.
ReplyDeleteThe coupons that week weren't really that cool, just stuff for MnM's, gum etc... I think you have to make the 2nd swipe very soon after the 1st, like a few seconds/minutes.

The collection is scheduled for release in January, but a couple of people got ahold of the polishes early and swatched them. ReplyDeleteMy Dollar Tree had a ton of the Sally Hansen nail polish pens. They also had these round Jane lip palettes with stripes of various lip colors. I've never seen Jane there before this, I hope they get some other products in. I don't like lip palettes so I passed on those but would love to try some eye shadows, blush, etc.
ReplyDeleteJust a heads-up, ladies! L'Oreal has a new line called EverCreme that includes a cleansing conditioner! There are also new styling products. Also, Suave has new keratin products coming out. Check L'Oreal and Suave's websites, you can see all the items there. Finally, I was at my CVS the other day when I spotted a cleansing conditioner from Salon Grafix! For reference, I am in San Diego :).

ReplyDeleteAt Walgreen's, there are Wet N' Wild Wild Shine nail polishes for only $1.00, while all the other nail colors are around at least $4.00. But just tell other people not to buy Wet N' Wild Bijou Blue, I got it, it look like a sea green, but it's a glittery light blue, that needs around 4 coats. Not good. But Wild Shine Sunny Side Up is great.

Was at my local Big Lots last night and they had a large selection of Neutrogena eye shadows and lipsticks that are discontinued. Eye shadows were $3 and i believe the lipsticks were $2.
ReplyDeleteI was at Walgreens today, and in their Christmas section most items were 50% off including the Sally Hansen complete salon manicure sets of 3 polishes that have 2 colors and 1 clear top/base coat. I live in northwest Indiana if that makes a difference. The Walgreens I went to now only has 2 sets left since I bought 2 so hurry!

I just stopped in at one of my local CVS stores, checked out the clearance section (way in the back of the store), and found SIX lip butters marked down to $1.56 - Creamsicle, Tutti Frutti, Cotton Candy, Sugar Frosting, Fig Jam, and Sweet Tart. So what else could I do but get all of them??? I did notice that they still had a full display of the lip butters at the regular price.

Hey Girls! I went to my local Rite Aid today (1/9/12) and they had PF shimmer strips gel eyeliner sets for 75% off!!! I snapped up blue eyes for a total of $2.73!!! I have been dying for this set and couldnt believe my eyes! Also PF organic line was all on sale 75% off and the Bronzer/foundation that G. loves is also 75% off!

ReplyDeleteI also went into my local Rite Aid on Saturday (01/07) and there was a TON of the PF Orange SPF15 compacts for 75%, along with the Organic wear blush and shimmer strips gel eyeliner, along with the Urban Decay dupe set! In the section of the PF, almost half of everything in the display is 75%, so I'm guessing they're clearing everything off. I bought all three of the orange SPF15 compacts ($3.34 each!), shimmer strips and two organic wear blush/bronzer combos for only $13! SO CHEAP!

I am not sure if this was commented before...But Wallgreens is having a sale on all their Loreal Voluminous for $5.99 with an in store coupon of $1 off (in the coupon booklet exp.1/28/2012)... But you can add another $1 if you use a manufacturer coupon (which you can get on the loreal website after signing in and completing the "ask me" app)... So basically you get the mascaras for $3.99 plus tax. AWESOME DEAL. Especially for all those people who wanted to try the CARBON BLACK.

BTW, I visited CVS today here in St. Petersburg, FL and the Milani sale is pretty huge, but it appears they no longer carry W&W. I'll hit Walgreens tomorrow, just to nose around. Hugs to you, G!

Pretty much every color nailpolish they stock is on sale for $1 O N E FREAKING DOLLAR WOOT WOOT! (I'm excited can you tell!) Seriously 90% of the polishes are $1....ALSO WET N WILD ALL 6 PANS are $1.25 each, lippies are $.49 apiece and also a blue liquid liner. ALMAY products, eyeshadow trios and foundation are also on clearance, I don't know much about the Almay because I don't use it. BUT RUN TO Kmart and get you some cheap Revlon, and dirt cheap WetnWild!!!!!!

I just returned from a grocery pit-stop at Food4Less, and spotted a few new hair products! First, V05 has a new moisturizing shampoo and conditioner in the Silky Experiences line called Shea Cashmere, and it has shea protein and warm vanilla....between shea butter being high up on the ingredients list and the price tag of a whopping 78 cents, I scooped up the shampoo and conditioner. They also had the Suave Keratin line, and a new scent in the Suave Naturals line called Everlasting Sunshine...I think it said passion flower and vanilla. Suave also has a new antidandruff shampoo and conditioner with coconut and shea butter! Whew! San Diego ladies, this was in Mission Valley!

ReplyDeleteThe foundation and concealer both had a coupon on the package to try for free. It's a mail in rebate but worth the trouble. I did this for the eye booster and it took about 8 weeks for my check to come. CVS has $7 in Xtra care bucks this week when you buy $10 in PF. After the rebate it's like they are paying you $7 to try it. :) By the way, the Youthful Wear powders and the new PF blush and bronzers had a $3 off coupon on them.
