I got my email this morning and jumped on it. The upcoming box already looks great, so I can't wait.

Thanks for including the links to the past boxes! After seeing what they've looked like, I decided to pass. They're not exactly what I was picturing, so I'm glad I didn't pay and then be disappointed! :)

I've been on the wait list since the beginning and I've been trying to get in All dawit zero luck. I'm in CB Iowa 5 Seconds from Omaha for anyone that the wants to know.
I was able to sign up so I'm interested to see what they offer each monthly. I currently LOVE Allure's beauty box so they have big shoes to fill with me lol

I could tell something was different with their box reveal video on the website and the packaging for the box in that video looks different. I kind of prefer the old style where they talk directly to the camera and not some random "subscriber". I had a feeling they might be ready for a wider launch! So glad that more people get to enjoy this!
I almost cried cuz I was so excited! But then when I tried to sign up... they said they don't ship to Hawaii... I've already waited months for this... Wouldn't be surprised if they never ship to Hawaii. fml.

I got the email and subscribed around 7pm (CST). I'm in Oklahoma City, OK and maybe they opened up posts for Oklahoma
I've been on the wait list since the first day you could sign up for it last year. I got my email this afternoon (but I just now saw it) and so excited, I was able to access to Play page and enter all my info and then when I got to the very last page to submit payment, I got this message: "There are no avialiable shipping groups for current user." They misspelled "available," not me, fyi :\ So I wonder what that means? I've been waiting forever, and I spend quite a lot at Sephora, so I deserve to get this box ... what's the deal?!
Does anyone know if we signed up today if we will be getting the April one, or do we wait until May? I was so underwhelmed by my Target box.
I got the invitation and signed up this afternoon. Just an FYI: you won't be getting the April box, but the May box, and the box comes at the end of the month. So we're talking 5-6 weeks before you see anything (I got this from a Sephora CSR on their 800 number.)

OMG, people are losing their damn minds on the Sephora Beauty Boards over this. I swear someone is going to call the UN to have their management hauled into answer for beauty war crimes! Ladies there are a literally dozens of subscription boxes available. There will be spots open once things settle down.

Thought maybe I missed it & tried to sign up with my yahoo ID that is my Sephora ID as well & got wait listed again.
I didn't want to miss the notification email since I get so much junk in yahoo mail so I signed up with my hotmail address & was able to get the Sephora Play Subscription!!
WTF? I was less than $150 from VIB Rouge last year & I couldn't get Sephora Play but I could with a different email & being asked to create a new Sephora ID?
I'm torn between being pleased I got it & angry that I couldn't get it with the Yahoo address associated with my long standing Sephora account.
That is just not right....

I signed up on launch date well, was bummed when I couldn't get in month and after month but when I received email yesterday, I hemmed and hawed , finally said why not? this am, and got right in- good luck to everyone else, still seems hit or miss for certain areas of the country

I received my email yesterday morning and was able to sign up. Two things I noticed from the intro video - looks like the packaging is changing from past boxes and they've added a makeup bag (that was one of the reasons I cancelled Ipsy...so. many. bags.!) And the booklet detailing the products now seems to be a fold out pamphlet - superficial things, but worth noting, IMHO.

For people who are not being asked to sign up for the wait list, how did you finally get it to work? Did you keep refreshing the same page or....?
Spritely, this is exactly what happened to me. I was getting an error message and couldn't sign in/up for it with my Sephora email & password, it wait-listed me again. But when I used my other email and basically created a new BI account, it let me subscribe right then. That is weird.
I never need my Ipsy bags (I agree, a new one every month is annoying, I'd rather have a recyclable box), but I like to keep them and put the samples from my subscriptions that I don't use and make my own little bags and give them to friends and family as gifts. They love them! ;)

I wish I could start with April's box, as it looks amazing. I already have Ipsy, and may try one more month and then cancel and just keep Sephora's sub. I do not want too many as the clutter starts to add up. While I did get a few okay things through Ipsy, already after only 2 months with them, I am getting similar items. I already got 2 highlighters, one in my march and one in my April. I got the Tarte lip pencil, but did not like the color on me. I just feel like most of Ipsy' brand of products are really cheap low end products made in china. The brands they send I feel are similar in quality to some of Elf products.,which can be found almost anywhere. They are reasonably priced and if I have $10 to throw around, I can at least pick colors I like from Elf's line for 2 products I will definitely use, as opposed to products picked out for me that will be a hit or miss.
Anyway thanks for the heads up on Sephora's sub. I enjoy you blog and your sales tips. I really wanted to try Tarte's new rainforest foundation, and with your post on Tartes' F&F discount, I was able to save some money.

Did you guys get the bright pink lipstick? I tried to wear it but the pigmentation is lacking and the application suffered as a result. I might try it again, but it just didn't apply or wear well, especially for a color like that. Oh well! It was a good box overall, I thought. :)
Just an FYI: I don't think it matters if you are a VIB or not. I am not a rewards member, only occasionally shop at Sephora, and I was taken off the waitlist. Guess it depends on the number of spots in your area that are available.
I got that hideous pink lipstick too. And I agree about the poor pigment/application (I tried it to see if, hope against hope, it *might* be wearable). Definitely not inspiring me to try anything else from this line. What a bummer! (I have got 5 or 6 lipsticks/glosses this candy/Barbie pink shade from Birchbox also. wtf?)
