Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palettes
(retail: $7.99 each)
Many thanks to longtime reader TheVoiceOfReason for the tip about this one! Did you know that Black Radiance (same parent company as Wet n Wild, Physicians Formula, Lip Smackers, etc.) has new contour palettes? Yep! And they're now available for $7.99 each on the Target website HERE (free shipping on all orders through Christmas Day).
There are two different palettes in this line. Here's a closer look:
Light to Medium Palette
Medium to Dark Palette
As of the time of this post, I do not see these listed on the Black Radiance site (did you know they have an online store now though? In case you haven't seen it yet, you can check that out HERE). I don't know if these palettes will eventually be available at select Walmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc. locations, but if you don't want to wait, again, you can get them at Target HERE with free shipping right now.
I'm so thrilled that Women of Color have a new, affordable contouring option. If you're a WoC, please let me know what you think of these so far--are you liking the color options here?
Thanks again, TheVoiceOfReason, for the great heads-up about these!
First off let me say I LOVE BR!!! I am so excited for this but as a WOC (NC50) I am a little concerned. There are only 2 palettes and in both of them the "contour" shade appears too light and too warm for me. I and many other WOC have this issue with every contour palette we come across so I hope these work for at least some WOC. The contour shade will be dark but because we're dark it will only match our skin tone and not be any deeper or cooler than our notoriously warm skin. I know pictures can be deceiving so I will definitely go check then out. Hopefully they have a tester in store!! BR usually does.
ReplyDeleteYou know you can share contour with their darkest stick concealer!
DeleteI agree about the colors looking too light and warm. I do use one of their concealer sticks to contour. But I will be checking this out.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be checking these out.. thanx for the tip.
ReplyDeleteThose images arent a true representatiom of what it looks like in person. I purchased the medium to dark kit today and the colors are alot darker than whats portrayed. Take a look at it in stores ladies.
ReplyDeleteYes, the med to dark is really good! I was surprised at how dark the contour was. Its at Walgreen's with a $2 coupon on the product. Im a nw45 with Mac, and this showed up great on my skin, better than any contour I've ever used. The only one I didn't like was the middle color. It just didn't do anything for me. But the contour and highlight, A plus!
ReplyDeleteNow I can't wait for my next paycheck! I'm totally giving this a try!
ReplyDeleteI love BR! I really love this contour colors. I used medium to dark and love it. I'm not big on cream contours but with BR contour you can build up.
