The Wednesday Question

A little late today, but here's your Wednesday Question (I can't wait to see your responses!):

What is your "sweat pants" lip color?
In other words, what's the lip color you reach for when you want something that's low maintenance, reliable, and comfy?

  1. I really like the Blistex Lip Vibrance. It's the perfect my lips but better shade. It's pigmented enough to look like a have a bit of color on my lips, it goes with anything I'm wearing, and it's moisturizing!

  5. Rosy raisin by elf. It's discontinued, so I have to get it on eBay. So worth it-- it's perfect.

  8. I hate to admit it on a budget blog, but these days it's Too Faced La Creme lipstick in Pink Chocolate. It was L'Oreal Glossy Balm in Lovely Mocha for a long time, though!

  9. My easy no fuss lip colors are Maybelline creamy mattes- Nude Embrace or Clay Crush. They're matte so they stay put, but feel very comfortable for sure.

  10. NYX Tiramisu if I want something totally worry free. Maybelline Creamy Matte in Nude Nuance, Daringly Nude or Clay Crush for when I want a bit more color.

  11. Ekkkss...have to admit it's not a drugstore product but I'll share anyway MAC's Hug Me or Freshbrew

  12. Tarte Lipsurgence lip tints. Super moisturizing with enough color to make an actual difference. Not just another sheer tinted lip balm type of thing. For a drugstore option, I really like L'oreal balms, the ones in the square packaging.

  13. Milani Naturally Chic, Milani Lust, Kleancolor Night Sky, and bh cosmetics Toasted.

  14. L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Tender Mauve!

  15. Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies lip balm in the shade Luv U, it's a perfect neutral pink and really moisturizing.

  18. NYX soft matte cream in Cannes is definitely my current fallback shade.

  19. Urban decay revolution lipstick in Rush! It's a great formula and a great "my lips but better" for me. It wears wonderfully and feels even better! I probably wear it 5 times a week ( for over a year) and I'm just now about to run out. I keep wanting to try other colors, but I'll probably just stick with it. I have a couple of the Nars Audacious lipsticks and I love them ( especially Anna) but for some reason UD rush is always what I reach for unless I'm really wanting to go bold. They are similar in formula.

  20. Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Creme (not lipsurgence lip tints, which I haven't tried) in "empowered" described as a soft pink. It feels nice, very slightly tingles when you apply it and has good staying power.

  21. I have 3 options I go to. Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby or Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle if I want some color. If I want maximum no fuss though, I go with Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Color in Pink Cognito.

  22. Burts Bees tinted lip balm in "Hibiscus," for sure. It's the most moisturizing worry-free tint I ever tried.

  23. I don't really have a go to sweat pants vibe color. I will always have a Candy Cane Chapstick or Carmex in Pomegrante with me. So I guess it would be one of those

  24. Tart Blushing Bride - looooooove it.

  25. Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in Dusty Rose. It was a complete impulse buy to get a freebie lip liner, and it's the perfect nude but with a bit of color shade. Goes with everything!

  26. A light layer of Nivea's milk & honey chapstick followed by NYX butter lip balm in panna cotta! The perfect "natural" color for my very pale skin. :)

  27. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle. I have pink lips, and this shade is my lip color but better shade!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in Sultry. My holy grail, classic, looks good with everything, shade.

  29. theBalm Staniac with Dr. Lipp original nipple balm for lips over. That way I can snack or drink wine or whatever and not worry about fading. The balm helps keep my lips soft and not cracked.

  30. Too Faced La Creme lipstick in Nude Beach. It stays in my purse at all times and I have 2 more. One in my get ready makeup and 1 in my backup stash.

  31. ColourPop Lippie Stix in Cookie. It is the perfect nude, it's comfortable on my lips, smells great and wears for at least four hours! I'm surprised no one else has mentioned CP yet! They are my hg lippie brand. On a side note-I have tried the Too Faced La Crèmes in Nude Beach and Taffy and found them...lacking. In fact, the packaging on my Nude Beach broke, so almost an entire tube is garbage. Customer service told me I was out of luck :( So unless I want to scrape it out, melt it down and put it in something else. No thanks.

  32. Any of the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color sticks, but this time year, the shades Warm Caramel or Plum Perfect are my faves!

  33. Hmm...I would say I have four go to's: My Burts Bees tinted lip balm, My Bath and Body Works lemon chapstick, my Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Bellini, and my Maybelline Baby Lips lip gloss.
It just really depends on my mood, and what I feel like having on.
The Burts Bees is a really deep maroon perfect for fall! The B&BW one smells and tastes wonderful. And I have been really into lip gloss lately, so Bobbi Browns is perfect for a nude sparkle pop.
