The Service That Changed My (Blogging) Life

Before I begin, let me state up front that this review/testimonial is not a paid endorsement or sponsored post. I am a regular paying customer, and I just want to use my platform to give credit where credit is due, and also share my experience with any fellow bloggers out there who may be in need of a blog makeover.

As you know, I was working on redesigning my blog for months before it actually happened. I don't want to bore you with a long narrative about that, but let's just say that there were many failed attempts and I was at a point where I had almost given up hope of ever getting exactly what I wanted (without paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars in the process).

Hours and hours were spent asking friends for recs, combing the internet, and contacting various design companies. But sadly, everything turned out to be a bust when it came to my needs, my budget, and my schedule. I don't even recall at this point exactly what led me to pipdig, but it might have been the right combination of key words, or perhaps an online review I stumbled upon at 1 in the morning. But the point is, when I looked at the pipdig site, I immediately knew it was The One. Although by that point, I also thought, "This must be too good to be true." Because the pidig site had everything I wanted. From fresh, clean, professional, and fully customizable templates for both Wordpress and Blogspot blogs, to responsive mobile versions for both Wordpress and Blogspot blogs (a good mobile version for Blogspot blogs is hard to come by--trust me on that one).

But the one potential "problem" I remember seeing the night I found pipdig was that the pipdig offices are located in the UK. Would that mean weird payment conversions? Slow response times to questions or emergencies? And possible unforeseen issues that may arise due to me being in another country? No, no, and no. None of that happened. In fact, pipdig's response time was consistently better than some other US-based web design services I contacted prior to working with pipdig. And payment is done via PayPal, with no hidden fees or conversions (the prices listed on the site are exactly what you pay--not a penny more).

Pipdig enabled me to have the blog (and mobile version) I never thought I could have, at an extremely reasonable price (a very Nouveau-Cheap-friendly price). I am not a tech person by any means, and even I could install the template by myself (pipdig does offer installation for an additional fee, if you're scared about doing it yourself). Obviously I was nervous when the big day arrived, but Phil, the owner of pipdig, made all my fears melt away. Pipdig provides you with a clear and easy step-by-step guide for installation, which is filled with resources that will give you all of the answers you need to make the conversion and customization of your blog an extremely un-scary process from beginning to end.

The period post-installation was equally fantastic. There were a few tweaks I wanted to make that I couldn't figure out on my own, and Phil at pipdig responded quickly to my emails and provided help and guidance in a way that can be best described as "rockstar level." Seriously, he made my blogging dreams come true.

So that's why I'm sharing this with you. Since pipdig made my blogging dreams come true, I don't want to keep it a secret. I'm all about sharing great deals on great products here on this blog, so it seemed silly of me to NOT tell you about my awesome experience with pipdig. If you're looking for a makeover for your blog, I just cannot recommend this company enough. But don't take my word for it--check out all of the pipdig testimonials for yourself HERE. There are tons of happy customers out there, and I'm just one of them.

  4. I paid a LOT of money (I'm almost embarrassed) for a custom blog redesign about a year and a half ago and ended up being very disappointed. Then about six months ago, another blogger I follow that's in the UK got a new blog design that II absolutely LOVED and I saw the Pipdig logo at the bottom of her page, so I clicked through and ended up getting a design through them at a fraction of the cost of my custom job. I'm kicking myself for not finding them sooner!

    1. Omg, Jen, I literally almost had the same thing happen to me! I was this close to plunking down a lot of money on a custom design, but I wasn't happy with the mobile version they had to offer, so something inside me told me to hold off. Even though I felt the pressure to get my mobile version back up and running, and I know a lot of people were frustrated with that (myself included), I just didn't want to settle. And then just a few weeks later, I found Phil. And you're totally right--it was a fraction of the cost of what I was about to pay out of sheer desperation, for something I already knew I wasn't going to be 100% happy with. I'm SO glad that little voice told me to wait! And I'm even MORE glad that we both have a design we love now! I cannot believe I didn't notice you had a pipdig blog too. But when I'm on your blog, I'm so focused on your content, I'm like tunnel vision on your posts. Lol! :)

    2. Haha aww thanks! :) I've only had it for a short time and I keep tweaking. I kept a few elements from the old design that I liked (like my header) and let Pipdig do the rest. Your design looks GREAT! I love it and your mobile site is so clean and easy to use. That's what I'm on 75% of the time anyway. :)

    3. Your blog looks fantastic too, Jen! I looked more closely this time (ha!) and I LOVE that we even share a few of the same little elements. It's like we're Sisters-in-Arms, in more ways than one now! xo

  7. Hi!! This is my first comment, I've been following NC for a while now but never posted. Im a newly blogger (other non-makeup theme) and Im pretty satisfied with my Weebly blog services, but deff gonna take a look at pipdig. Do they offer GREAT stats?? That may be what closes the deal. Weebly stats are very basics and minimal, at least for my liking! Thank you for sharing this resource and hi from Puerto Rico!

  8. Love your site redesign although I kinda miss your older header ;) but my template is from pipdig also and it was the easiest thing ever to install. I am thinking about moving to WP and if I do, I will definitely use one of their templates
