First the new The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara, then the new Brow Drama Pro Palettes, and now THIS? I don't know if I can handle any more excitment from Maybelline right now (who am I kidding? Of course I can!). Check it out:

NEW Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush Blushes
020 Pinking of You, 030 Pop of Peach
(retail: $5.99 each, 0.12 oz)
"Fool-proof sheer blush"
Many thanks to reader @leflamantrosee n Instagram for letting me know that the brand new Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush blushes are here!
Keep reading for more info and how to (possibly) get your hands on these ASAP...
These are now listed on the Target website HERE (update: they are now both available for purchase via the Target site and also for in-store pick-up). There are two shades listed, but I'm guessing there are more, given how these are numbered (there's probably at least a 010 shade, if not a 040, 050, etc.).
I try really hard to keep tabs on Baby Lips products that are avaialble in other countries, but I don't see any mention of these on the Maybelline Asian sites, UK site, etc. I know that other countries have the Baby Skin Instant Fatigue line, but those are more like tinted, color-correcting primers, not blushes. Could these blushes be brand new and not previously avaialble in any other country? And if we're getting these, will we also eventually be getting the Baby Lips Candy Wow jumbo lip pencils?? So many questions!
IMPORTANT: If you don't want to order online, you can also check for store availability in your area HERE by clicking "add to cart" and then seeing which stores near you may have them. Then, you can purchase/pay online and pick up at your store (with no shipping fees)!

As you can see, these are sort of like eos lip balms, meaning that you cannot twist them up for more product. You just swipe directly on to the cheek, like a traditional blush stick. Mystery solved!
Thanks so much to @leflamantrosee, @wendyleeszany, @beautygurus.news and everyone in the comments below for their updates, info and pics. I really appreciate it!
Sigh...I'll have to wait until they get put out on the shelves. My local Target is terrible about filling online orders. I ordered the new L'oreal Superstar mascara online for store pickup last week because it said my local store had it in stock. Then I got an email an hour later saying that it wasn't actually there so my order would be cancelled. I went the next day and they were in the process of putting them out, and they had a ton of them! This has happened to me several times...the online system says it's in stock but it's probably in a box in the stockroom and the employees don't bother checking there. It's really frustrating! :(
ReplyDeleteArgh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Jen. My stores have been really good with this system--when I order for in-store pickup (even when it's a brand new item) I go in and it's there waiting for me. Maybe you can try calling the store before you place your order, to let them know that their website says they're in-stock, but you'd like to have someone in the store physically check that before you pay online? Maybe that might help? :)
DeleteHow do you apply these?
ReplyDeleteAll I know right now is what I listed in my post about..the Target site states that these are "brush-on." :)
DeleteThey look like cushion blushes, but I could be wrong!
DeleteI just bought this at Target today! Almost missed it because there wasn't a display for it, it was hanging with the rest of the permanent baby lips line. There was only Pop of Peach left, but there were 3 hanging rows, which makes me think there'll be 3 shades (we already know the other one is pink). Can't wait to try it out!
ReplyDeleteIt says that a store near me has them in stock - might need to check it out. The picture is really confusing lol. My guess is that they're in stick form, but who knows.
ReplyDelete"Smooth directly onto cheeks in upward motion for subtle hint of color."
Oh G, I was so disappointed. I found these at my local Target and picked up pop of peach. The clear bit at the bottom is actually a cap, meaning you use the flat end to hold. There's no brush. The blush is a kind of creamy gel in a dome shape. I suppose they meant you hold the flat end to brush the dome part over your cheeks? Packaging is a minor gripe though considering the product inside. The blush is super creamy and sheer. It blends away to nothing. Couldn't even get it to show up on my super fair NW15 skin :(
ReplyDeleteI believe it says "Pinking of You" not "Thinking of You".
ReplyDeleteWo Wooo these new Maybelline blushes sound so "dreamy delicate", I hope they arrive here in EU and if they do, I'll shout it out ^-^
ReplyDeleteAll the best and tons of xo,
Valentina
Thank you SO MUCH, everyone, for the additional info! I really appreciate that, and I have updated my post! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat looks frustrating to use.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I need to hunt these down! I haven't been drugstore makeup hunting in a while and oh how I have missed it! Thank you G :)
ReplyDeleteI was hoping it'd be a cushion blush. This is a bit of a let down
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Looks like Tarte cheekstain knockoffs.
DeleteMy sister went to Taiwan and picked up 5 out of 6 shades of the Baby Lips Candy Wow jumbo lip pencils for me. And I was disappointed because I thought they would be lip crayons like Revlon's but they're actually extremely similar to the Baby Lips lip balms but in pencil form. They are balmy and sheer. The only thing I really like about them is that the scents are true to the color names - fruity and not plastic-y. Definitely not worth the $6-7 price tag. They're worth no more than $4-5 each if they ever come to the US.
ReplyDeleteI bought the coral one at target, the only one they had. I feel like it compares to a Tarte cheek stain as far as it applies. The color payment is barely there. It's very oily and thick (compared to other cream blushes) and basically just feels like I'm applying a lip balm on my cheeks. I wanted it to work but you have to apply it a couple of times to get it to show up because you lose color blending it out. Hopefully it will work out for other people than it did for me.
ReplyDeleteCheck your targets even if it says out of stock. My local one didn't have but i drove 20 min to the other and they had it even though it still showed oos.
