The Lipstick League - Week of 6.22.15

The Lipstick League Question of the Week

What are your favorite deep-conditioning hair treatments?

I'm not a huge deep-conditioning person (not that I'm opposed to it, I'm just horrible at remembering to do it) so I actually don't have a favorite. But I have been eyeing that Clairol Hair Food Moisturizing Mask that many of us got in our Target Cyber Monday Beauty Boxes last fall. I really need to remember to give it a try one of these days. If you got it in your Target Cyber Monday beauty box, have you tried it yet? What do you think of it? I see that it received some very good reviews on Makeup Alley, so I really need to get on it and give it a whirl.

  1. I just use evoo. People swear by coconut but it breaks me out terribly.

  2. One n Only Argan Oil Restorative Hair Masque (Sally Beauty, Ricky's) does the trick for me. Smooths, softens and detangles instantly. I am biracial with shoulder-length curly hair (S-curl pattern)

  3. I use Aussie 3-Minute Miracle or Dove Quench Deep Repair Mask.

  4. I never remember to do deep-conditioning treatments unless I receive a sample. If I do remember to put extra effort before shampooing, I'll just plop a ton of conditioner in my hair for a few minutes (or longer) before showering. I use conditioners I'm so-so on for that sort of thing, and I'm happier with the product that way.

  6. i really like garniers damage repair hair mask & loreals total repair extreme emergency hair repair. both are fairly light on my hair but make my hair super silky & my hair is fairly similar to yours texture wise. i've gone through two tubs of the garnier one though. if i could afford it i'd just buy the it's a ten deep conditioner by the liter, it's my favorite.
