The Lipstick League - week of 10.13.14

The Lipstick League Question of the Week

Now that the weather is getting cooler in the Northern hemisphere, what product do you rely on to keep your skin soft and moisturized?

G's answer: Considering that the weather hasn't really cooled down much yet here in S. Cal, I haven't had to switch to my more heavy-duty moisturizers yet. BUT, I have been testing out the much-talked-about Dr. Lin Daily Hydrating Gel and I'm super excited to tell you all about that in an upcoming review.

  1. I don't know if I've ever found a HG product for that. Last winter I started using that Palmer's oil for the face (with the rosehip fragrance) and really like it. I also like the Freeman goji berry moisturizing mask a lot. My skin gets pretty dry in winter so I'm always on the lookout for something. I also found something by a Michigan company called Bizzy Fizz. It's a lavender vanilla oil which I sometimes just pat on -- even though it's not specifically for the face. All three of those made last winter less dry than usual so I'm sticking with them and keeping an eye out for other products to add to the rotation so I don't look like an old husk come February.
