beyond excited to get all the new Loreal products...the eye shadows totally love.....thanks for all the great posts on new products....
ReplyDeleteSo this might be why my drugstore put a bunch of Colour Riche quads (Bold and Smoky collections) on clearance?
ReplyDeleteMan, when are they going to release some new LE Infallibles?! Hasn't it been a year since the last LE ones? Miss Candy was the last, no? I NEED MORE!!! lol
ReplyDeleteI actually like the texture of these, would prefer a different design of packaging each pan round or square.., I think it is too hokey, am I the only one
ReplyDeleteYes, anxious to see your first impression. Since these are called "Dual effect" I am wondering if you can use them wet or dry? Otherwise, what is the dual effect? I feel like they are just repackaging and repromoting a regular eyeshadow quad. That's why I hope there is something different and special about these...
ReplyDeleteThese look like the Loreal quads I've seen on European/UK blogs with how the shadows are shaped. Here's hoping they are better than the current quads!
ReplyDeleteI like the color combos. But mostly, they seem to be 'safe' colors.
ReplyDeleteI NEED emerald conquest!!!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteGot the Rose Nude and the Ivy Green Pencil today
ReplyDeleteBTW if you shop @ Harmon spend $20 on Loreal and get $5 off with the in store coupon.
Unforgettable Lilac, Emeral Conquest, Absolute Taupe and maybe Eternal Blue are re-shapped, renamed items for L'oreal Color Riche for other countries. You in the US have/had different items than the rest of the world, and it confuses me greatly that brands do this. Why companies do not attempt and merge their catalogues?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have two of the equivalents:
Unforgettable Lilac = Lilac Cherie
Emeral Conquest = Baie d'Emeraudes
Lilac Cherie is very good. All shades are very well pigmented and beautiful. My favs are the darkest one which is pigmented as hell and the sparkly second shade, for a glam touch. I do recommend it.
Baie d'Emeraudes is medium good. My fav is the 3rd shade which is a blue with some green in it but lacks pigmentation. The gold shade is super flaky and sparkly, it definitely needs a sticky base or else you risk glimmer dancing all over your face. The 2nd is a sky blue with tiny micro gold shimmer and looks a lot like one shade from a sigma palette with french-France related names. Overall this palette is also worth a try.
I picked up the one you reviewed separately, Rose Nude and it's fabulous. I wouldn't have believed it's a Loreal shadow if the name was not on it. Definitely an improvement in the formula. Creamy, pigmented, and blend very well. Fantastic staying power (over primer). I just wish they were pressed in pans so I could depot them, it's my only complaint.
