NEW L'Oreal Summer 2014 Limited Edition Neon by Colour Riche Collection
(retail: $4.99 each at Bed Bath & Beyond)
There are six shades in this collection:
Banana Pop, Energetic Tangerine, Punchy Lychee, Acid Watermelon
Punchy Lychee, Acid Watermelon, Flashing Lilac, Fluo Azure
In person, none of these shades looked like true, eye-searing neons. But some did look nice and bright (especially Fluo Azur). Flashing Lilac and Acid Watermelon got a little washed out by my camera--in real life they're a little richer than what you see here.
Have you spotted the L'Oreal Summer 2014 Neon Collection in your area yet? Thoughts? Please check back in a little bit lot and lots of other new products from L'Oreal. Seriously, if you love L'Oreal it's your lucky day!
Ok, so I'm just going to go ahead and say it: are neons the only colors cosmetic companies can put out for summer? I feel like the market is over saturated with neons already! Almost every summer collection is neon this year...Sorry for the rant.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I would love some other finishes or something, at least besides just neon cremes.
DeleteI totally agree, and am making vampy polish in protest. I have all these tired shades!
DeleteAgree! *sigh* At least it's saving me some money, I guess. :p They could have taken a cue from Sephora's Firmula X line though; half of the neons from that line have micro flakies/shimmer and dry matte (and they're GORGEOUS)!
DeleteI agree. I see these colors in every brand this summer. It would be nice to see something different.

ReplyDeletea lot of brands are releasing cobalt blue polishes & i love it since i'm currently obsessed with that color .

this. totally. all summer long, every year, it's bathing suits and bright colors. makes me shudder every time!
ReplyDeleteAre these creme or jelly?
ReplyDeleteI want many of these! LOL. I really don't mind all the neon. I have been very particular about what I actually buy so I don't have too many though. I am over the whole matte glitter thing so neon is not bothering me!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Carol G. and company on the neon overload. There are some pretty colors here but at first glance I see nothing new, especially for what costs $6. Plus I picked up a couple neons from Maybelline and Wet n Wild already, so I've got more neons and brights in my stash, at a lower price, already.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen these yet, but also haven't been to BBB in a while.
