What ONE drugstore beauty product do you hope never, ever gets discontinued?
Maybelline Define-A-Brow in the shade Dark Blonde. It has been my holy grail eyebrow product for years because it lasts forever on my oily skin. I love that's it a twist-up and it has a very fine point for precise application. Also, the shade Dark Blonde is a true, cool-toned ashy light brown with absolutely no warm undertones (so hard to find at the drugstore level!). Maybelline has already discontinued other shades in this range, but if they take away my Dark Blonde I honestly will break into a cold sweat and cry for days.
Jesse's Girl eye shadow primer! I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it! :)

DeleteI'd have to say Almay's smart shade loose finishing powder. It is the ONLY drugstore powder that I have found that helps absorb oil throughout the day AND makes my foundation last pretty much all day! You never hear many things about almay but you should DEFINITELY try this product! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll give this a try.
DeleteI had this in my hand at cvs earlier tonight and wasn't sure if you said loose or pressed (didn't have my phone to re-read your comment.) My skin is outlandishly oily, and I will be trying this asap! Thanks. :)
DeleteMaybelline baby lips..i love them..:)
ReplyDeleteI must agree with you. That product in dark-brown is my must have product. I have been using it since it came out and LOVE IT...
ReplyDeleteI agree with the two of you! I use the black. I searched for years for the perfect brow product from cheap to expensive and was never satisfied until I came across define-a-brow. I give a lorry of products to my sister out of my stash but when she wanted to take my brow pencil I had to say no way. LOL! I am always worried it'll be discontinued.
DeleteYes Maybelline did, they discontinued my shade... still sad about it...
ReplyDeleteFor me I think it would have to be that Cover Girl 3-in-1 foundation in Buff Beige. It looks natural on my skin and it holds up well in hot, muggy weather without any freaky streaking.
ReplyDeleteJessie's Girl waterproof eyeliner & Physicians formula booster eyeliner.
ReplyDeleteI will cry and buy dozens if they ever discontinue them.
Covergirl 3-in1 Foundation. It took me probably 10 years to find a foundation that I LOVE, and it is definitely my HG. Also, Rimmel ScandalEYES Kohl liners. It's my favorite for black and nude eye liners.
ReplyDeleteAlmay Get Up and Grow mascara (waterproof)! omg it's comparable to a high end mascara
ReplyDeleteMINERAL WEAR TALC-FREE MINERAL FACE POWDER
ReplyDeleteIt took me years to find it... a foundation that doesn't cake. I ditched liquid makeup for this stuff and never looked back. My face still gets oily but it looks way better than liquid foundation ever did.
My runner up is ... NYC Grand Central Central Station fast dry clear nail polish. $2 , $1 on sale. Can't beat it.
Sorry.. I had to list 2. I stock pile them when I find a sale. PF on sale at rite aid now. BOGO free... going tonight bcuz u reminded me. Thanks!
It's a fairly new product, but I've been thrilled w/ the WNW Fergie eye primer (non-shimmer.) I used the Milani primer for the past year and while I've been happy with it, I really get better staying power with the Fergie one. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe next time there is a BOGO free I will try this. Thanks.
DeleteYou're welcome! If you're as oily as I am (or even less) I think you'll be happy with it. I'm beyond T-zone oily, I'm talking every square inch. I'll try the shimmer next time there are sales or coupons.
DeleteThe lighter shade of Hard Candy Glamoflage. Nothing else at drugstore prices both matches my skin and is opaque & long-wearing!
ReplyDeleteThis is a different one, but the Rimmel Exaggerate eye liner in black has been my HG eyeliner for YEARS. Before that, I tried every waterproof eyeliner I could find but no matter what it still smudged like crazy. This stuff is great, lasts so long and hardly moves - even when I work out! I buy 4-5 at once and would probably buy a bucket full if they were to be discontinued.
ReplyDeleteLA Colors Grafix Eyeliner - don't they dare discontinuing that :o
ReplyDeleteThey already did.. the CG simply ageless concealer. :(
ReplyDeleteI've tried dozens of others and can't find a dupe.
For current products it would be the Revlon brow fantasy in Brunette. My brows have faded out so I need a tinted gel and it's the only one in the ds market. It also happens to be the perfect auburn brown color to match my hair. I could live without the pencil end, I don't use it but I have used the pencil in other colors and they are great.. however I've used and liked several other products underneath as well so it's not HG.
It is a tie between two products. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Warm Me Up, I never leave home without it. Maybelline Full N Soft Mascara, my favorite everyday Mascara. It never clumps or smudges and gives me natural looking lashes.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer!!
ReplyDeleteRevlon Colorstay Foundation. I love how it feels and it helps me so much with oil control, and it's one of the closest matches to my skin that I've found so far. I hope they never ever get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteL'oreal True Match Lumi in N1-2. It is the best foundation I've ever found for my dry skin (even compared to Chanel and Armani!!)
ReplyDeleteI also use the Define A Brow in dark blonde. I would be devastated if they discontinued this! I use it every day. This is a must have in my daily routine. Its the perfect shade!
ReplyDeleteL'oreal Infallible shadows! I am obsessed with them.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Shine Free Loose Powder. My HG setting powder. I have hoarded a truckload of it just in case they discontinue it which is so common of Maybelline to do. And can i add one more? It's Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Bellini, my HG lipgloss. Shade is pretty much dupe for Nars Turkish Delight but more elegant.
ReplyDelete2 things for me. NYC Grand Central Station, clear fast dry polish. Second Wet and Wild Lipstick in # 613. My favorite peach lip color. I have about 4 in back up right now. Any one in my purse.
ReplyDeleteIf you lose your HG brow pencil try Sumita Brow Pencil in Chai. $11 on birchbox.com. Twist up and a fairly fine point. Works with my ashy blonde perfectly.
ReplyDeletenyx butter glosses:)
ReplyDeleteI think I would CRY if they EVER discontinued the Cover Girl 3 in 1 foundation, as I have FINALLY found a foundation that looks natural but still covers and feels good on the skin....:-)
ReplyDeleteNeutrogena Anti Shine Primer keeps my face matte all day! Maybelline eye shadow quad in Natural Smokes. The dark brown shade is my HG powdered liner. I'm on my 2nd one and I only use this shade :|
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... That's a tough one! The first product that came to mind is Maybelline's SuperStay 24HR Concealer, so I guess I'll have to go with that. Maybelline had a liquid foundation I swore by in my high school years {and shortly thereafter}, but then it was discontinued, and I've managed to move on. I don't think I'd have luck with finding another concealer... I've tried so many, and I keep coming back to SuperStay.
ReplyDeleteCoty Airspun loose powder in translucent extra coverage. I have used it to set my makeup for almost 30 years, simply because it is the best. I feel the same way about Cover Girl powder compacts, complete with that wonderful Noxema-ish scent :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
Revlon lip butters. I especially love Gumdrop, Cupcake, and Cotton Candy. Sometimes you just need something lighter and softer than lipstick when your lips are dry. I have backups of course. Tied is Rimmel eye makeup remover. No film afterwards, does not irritate eyes. I just opened a new bottle and I have 3 backups.
