Thanks to two lovely readers, I have some exciting news to share with my fellow Sally Hansen fans today. First up, thanks to reader @ainodino on Instagram for alerting me to this. Coming soon:

Coming Soon: NEW Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish Collection
According to Elle Canada, Sally Hansen is "launching a hybrid gel and traditional polish...that you can do at home, and lasts 14 days." Since these are a polish-gel hybrid, they do not require a lamp like traditional gel polishes (similar to L'Oreal Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque, Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy, etc.).
And thanks to my pal Halifax of Sparkled Beauty for sharing with me that Janine of Beauty Geeks has swatches and pics of the entire collection (47 shades!) HERE.
This collection should be hitting the US in late summer 2014.
Thanks again, @ainodino and Halifax, for the great tips and links!
Goodness, Sally Hansen is on a ROLL at the moment with great collections
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I hope you all in the UK get these soon too! :D
Deletebut how is it gel if there is not light needed??
ReplyDeleteIt's not a gel--it's a gel/polish hybrid. :) With these no-lamp-required hybrids, they usually claim to provide some of the benefits of gels (long-lasting, more shine, etc.), without having to use a lamp. So they probably won't last QUITE as long as traditional gel polishes, but the benefit is that you can usually remove them as easily as regular nail polish and no light required. I hope that helps!
DeleteIf they can actually last more than a week with no chipping then i might have to shell out the extra money for those... I'll wait to see the reviews online though.
ReplyDeleteI have become such a polish addict that ironically, I have no use for a polish that would last 14 days, lol!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, Sister. I have a ridiculous amount of polish and change my nails every day in winter, every 1-2 days in warmer months.
DeleteSo many amazing colors coming out the summer! I want them all lol but my house isn't big enough. lol
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you see my tweet. There is also a nude collection in this launch that I linked you, and all collections won't be out until August :)
ReplyDeleteoh wow!!! I can't wait to try one of these!!!
ReplyDeleteMy plan is to wait until they to on clearance... then scoop them up. Until then I'll only look and not buy... I don't need polish to last a long time. I get tied of it after a day or two.
ReplyDeleteThese are aimed at the girls who don't want to go to a salon for gel, and don't want the headache of removing a gel manicure.
Being the curious nail polish hoarder that I am, I will give this a shot before it goes to clearance. Once I find it I will report back.
Hi lovely! Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is coming out in Canada in August; I think they're hitting the US in July. And you're correct in your assumption it's as easy to remove as regular nail polish. Basically, the colour coat and the top coat bond together when they meet, and a photoinitiator component in the top coat triggers a curing action in daylight so it hardens even more. Seven colour families including six nudes, 47 shades in all. Crazy! xo
ReplyDeleteIs that the same like CND weekly polish??? in wish there is no need of Base Coat only the color and TC??
DeleteWow – what an extensive review! I bought the one in deep burgundy called ‘wine stock’ – and it is beautiful - I definitely need to get more!
