Spotted: Maybelline Limited Edition Color Show Polka Dots Collection

I feel like I've been blogging about this new Polka Dots collection for a YEAR now, don't you? I've heard from several of you that they've finally, FINALLY landed in the US (the official release date is July) and today I have a great display pic to share with you from reader @mizzlizz36 on Instagram, who spotted these at CVS. In case you haven't seen these yet, here's what the display looks like:

As far as I'm concerned, there can never been too many milky/jelly glitters on this planet, and I love these color combos. What do you think? If you haven't seen swatches of these babies yet, check out my pal Amber's review of all five shades here.

ALSO! I just saw that Emi at Project Swatch spotted the OTHER new Limited Edition Color Show collection that I feel like I've been blogging about forever: Color Show Holographic Collection . These are duochromes (not holos) so keep an eye out for those at the drugstores as well if you're a duochrome lover. They've officially landed!

Thanks so much for the great pic and sighting, @mizzlizz36!

  1. I not sure if these are new but the Revlon Colorstay Foundation with Softflex?!!?!!?!! I believe it has the normal/dry and combo/oily formulas. I found it on the Walmart website and this one too. The Revlon New Complexion One step Compact and Liquid Foundation. Again not sure if its new but thought I'd tell you! Hope that helps! Xoxo, Katie

  2. picked up "clearly spotted" at wegmans over the weekend, love that it looks a but like a paint splatter effect. curious to try it over another shade, i've just worn it on its own so far.

  7. The black and white one looks like a dupe for Sephora X nail polish in Chaotic.

  8. Looks like the US and UK colors are different in the Polka Dots collection. Shooting Stars looks so much cooler than the blue the US got.

  9. This is *complete* speculation, but I just noticed that the labels don't say they're limited edition and neither does the US display. They just ditched the denims and a few of the crackles...could these be core??

    1. I actually picked all, but the orange, up at Walmart! And they were all in the permanent display! They were right where the crackles, and denims used to be!

    1. Thanks! I do want to make sure everyone knows that you're not actually purchasing through Maybelline when you do that. They just redirect you to CVS, Walmart or Target (your choice) and then you buy through those retailers if the retailer actually has it in stock (some do, some don't).
