Lumene Event at Walgreens Tomorrow (Saturday, 1/12)

Attention Lumene fans! I probably don't have to remind you that this week (through tomorrow, 1/12) select Lumene products are BOGOFREE at Walgreens (including their new BB Cream). But did you know about this event taking place tomorrow? Check it out:

Tomorrow (Saturday, 1/12), from 10am to 5pm at Walgreens:  Lumene is hosting a Walgreens SaturDate Event that includes free samples, coupons and a fantastic Buy One Get One offer!
What: Lumene SaturDate Event at Walgreens
Where: Your local Walgreens store
When: January 12th between 10am and 5pm

Again, this will be your last chance to take advantage of the BOGOFREE sale, so if you're a Lumene fan (or curious about the line) be sure to stop be your local Wags for samples and coupons. I think I'll be stocking up on my favorite Lumene eye cream while I'm there. What about you?

  1. ooooh...I have been looking at their products for some time but never took the plunge because they're a little pricey for a drugstore item. I will definitely be checking this out!

  2. I think too they are pricey for drugstore items ;) I live in Finland ("Lumene land") and my first makeup was Lumene... but for good thing have their own factory in Finland and there is no childlabor or sweatshops, people do get paid what is supposed to.
I love their foundations, one of few brands wich has "polarbear" shades.

  3. Has anyone gone by an event yet today? I'm thinking of stopping in on my way home from work and wondering if it's worth it.

  5. I stopped by Wags today to pick up some ibuprofen for my daughter. Unexpectedly, I also wound up getting some Lumene products. It turned out to be a great deal. I got the dry skin serum ($17.99) and the BB cream ($14.99) as a BOGO plus they gave me an extra $4 off using 2 $2 coupons. So I got both products for $13.99 plus tax total! In addition, I got a Wags beauty bag containing a bunch of coupons, new L'Oreal haircare samples, Neutrogena samples, perfume samples and a small tube of Crest3D toothpaste. Definitely worth checking out!

    1. Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by all the great samples, and that they gave me $4 off. I got the Dry Skin Comfort Radiance Cocktail and the BB Cream (which they didn't have in my shade but the beauty advisor encouraged me to get and just exchange for my shade when it came in). They were pretty much sold out of everything else except for a couple creams.

  6. I live in Kansas City and I stopped by two Walgreens on my way home. I figured they'd be out of samples at that point of day, but when I talked to the ladies working there they hadn't even heard of the promotion and thought I was talking about the Walgreens beauty box. :/

I really wish Walgreens would put out a list of participating retailers for things like this.

  7. I should have used the coupons and saved for dollars too. I didn't realize until home looking through my free sample haul that they were there ... I wonder if I can go back and use

  8. I went in the late afternoon and there was no real indication there was an event happening. I asked the beauty advisor if she had any samples of the BB cream so I could see if the "light" shade worked on my pale skin. She didn't have any for the BB cream but she pulled out a huge box and gave me about 20 various sample packs. I got two bottles of the light BB cream and have tried it once so far. The texture is a little putty-like when putting it on but when it sinks in it feels fine on the skin. The shade seems to work but I haven't seen it in natural light yet. I'm wary of products that come in only 4 shades because the light is usually too dark on me. I'm encouraged By Hikkis' comment that Lumene has "polar bear" shades so maybe this will be the first BB cream to work for me.

    1. Shade 1 is for both yellow and red undertones, paired numbers (2,4 etc) are for redundertones, and unpaired (3,5 etc) are for yellowundertones, this applys in coloured base product in Lumene. With BB creams I loved it when tested it, just can't buy new one having 6 already in diffrent brands... Yves Rocher did have too light BB-cream actually lightest one was too light for me :D
