Longtime reader and photo contributor Jess just spotted the new Physicians Formula Nude & Smoky Shimmer Strips Collection at CVS and was nice enough to share (lots of) pictures!
The display does not indicate that these products are limited edition--they seem to be an extension of the popular Nude palette that PF release back in December of 2011.
As you'll see, each of the products in this collection has a "nude" and "smoky" version:

Whew! I think that should give Physicians Formula fans enough new lemmings for a while, eh? Have you spotted this collection in person yet? Thoughts?
Thanks SO much, Jess, for the great sighting and pics!
YESYESYES to the retractable eyeliner-pencil duos and the liquid metal liners!!!
ReplyDeleteIs this surprising to you at all seeing as PF was just bought? I thought for sure they would be unloading most of their products. Maybe these were already produced and they just have to get rid of them?
ReplyDeleteNot surprising in the least. New products take months (or even years) to develop, so I'm sure PF had this new line in the works for quite some time. Plus, it generally takes a long time, even after an acquisition, to see major changes in a brand. I actually just read that the Markwins acquisition has been delayed until December, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see any major changes to PF (if we see any at all) for quite some time.
DeleteThis time of year, we actually see many brands unload various products to make room for new launches. So if we see some really good PF sales in the coming weeks (such as the 40% off sale at Rite Aid which starts today) I think that's kind of par for the course and not really an indication of a major change due to the acquisition. Just my opinion of course...I have absolutely zero knowledge of what's going on, or what will go on, in the future when it comes to PF. :)
Oooh these all look great! I think that taupe liner needs to be mine!
ReplyDeleteI love your Spotted Posts! I've always wanted to try PF eye products and I purchased the Shimmer Strips Eye Candy for Brown Eyes but I was disappointed because it was so sheer and it had a funky smell. So I'm a little weary purchasing the eyeshadows. However I have the Brown Eyes Eyeliner Trio in the pencil form and those work very nicely! I'm really intrigued that they're expanding their nude collection because I love nude/neutral/natural looks. I have my eye on those Liquid Metal Eyeliner Trios and possibly the Smoky Nude Eyeshadows! =)
ReplyDeleteI rarely wear liquid eyeliner but those look intriguing.
ReplyDeleteLol. They're expanding the nude line because of the popularity. I know it's common but xD I just find it funny. The smokey nude looks so pretty though.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm definitely looking forward to the eyeliners (all of them) and I love the idea of varied Nude Eye palettes, it would be nice if they actually had palettes that had a mix of finishes to the shadows...
ReplyDeleteThe gold and silver liners look awesome!
ReplyDeleteOMG this collection has my name all over it! Especially the eyeliners...love their shimmer strips liners, thanks to you! Can't wait to see this in person!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow colors but the ones I bought so far, feel like the don't come of the palette onto the brush. kwim? I am just spoiled by wet n wild icons eyeshadow? Should I try the sponge applicator?
ReplyDeleteI am super tired of them throwing a black eyeliner in every last eyeliner trio. I can't wear black eyeliner. It is too harsh on me and I wind up looking like Avril Lavigne or Taylor Momsen. Not a good look for someone pushing 40.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I never wear black eyeliner, but I have 4 of them sitting around because they came with the eyeliners I really wanted.
DeleteHaven't seen these anywhere yet.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for these to appear in Canada!
ReplyDeleteI need some coupons!
ReplyDeleteMetallic liquid liners!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletecould some of those eyeshadow palettes be naked palette dupes? I sure hope so! might have to pick up a pencil liner trio at rite aid tomorrow if there really is a sale.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to comparison reviews to the original sets if you can get your hands on these G.
ReplyDeleteThat last trio looks a bit intimidating but I am excited about these new eyeliners!
ReplyDeleteI bought the smokey nude pallete and was pretty disappointed. What looks to be an awesome silver and gold are pretty much mostly glitter with very little pigmentation as far as color. The bottom two colors (before the very bottom black" were great though. The very top white was okay.
ReplyDeleteThey should make "Matte Nude Eyes" and "Cool Nude Eyes" palettes as well. And I also wish they wouldn't put a black eyeliner in every single set.
ReplyDeleteTHE EYELINER TRIO IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE GLAM EYES GEL TRIOS
ReplyDelete... so I am almost a year late but glad I saw this post lol.. i just bought the Smokey Nude Shimmer Eye liners and want to pick up the warm ones...
