If the beauty gods granted you ONE of the following things for one month, which would you choose?
A) flawless skin
B) perfect hair
If you select A, every single morning when you wake up, your skin will be clean, perfectly hydrated and utterly flawless without any effort on your part. And it will remain that way for one month, no matter what you do (sleep in your makeup, forget to moisturize, etc.).
If you select B, every single morning when you wake up, your hair will be your natural texture, but it will be in the most perfect state imaginable, and stay that way throughout the day and night. If you have curly hair, you will have the curls of your dreams with no effort on your part. If you have straight hair, your hair will be like spun silk without any effort on your part.
So...what's it going to be?
Definitely A, I can only dream of flawless skin.
ReplyDeleteBest hair for SURE. I would have said skin in the past but I'm finding out that if I actually wash my face twice a day (you know, like normal people), then it stays pretty clear on it's own. Plus, it's easier to cover up acne & problems with makeup.
ReplyDeleteI love my hair! But it only does what it really wants to when I take a shower in the morning. Any day after that, it just gets frizzy and the curls get weird.
i choose b if that means i don't have to deal with my horrible cowlicks in my bangs. i wish they would just disappear!
ReplyDeleteA) Flawless skin.
ReplyDeleteWith a bit of time and the right products I can easily tame my hair, but its a lot harder to conceal and treat imperfect skin. That's my personal opinion though.
I'd have to say perfect skin because I have curly hair and I prefer for it to be straight or just curled. Also because awhile ago I chemically burned my skin using multiple facial washes in high school due to my ignorance on skin care ='[
ReplyDeleteI'd take skin. My hair already behaves nicely, all I have to do to it is a little anti-frizz spray at the part and finger comb.
ReplyDelete...and because I have a bad habit of not drinking water and I don't think I've been properly hydrated more than three days out of the last year.
I would definitely say A. Even the most stunning makeup can't hide, horrible skin. I can throw on a wig if need be. :-)
ReplyDeleteI would definitely chose flawless skin, I've been braking out so much lately and acne has been a problem, and have been spending more time in front of the mirror, I would love the extra hour of sleep! lol... I wish my dream will come true =)
ReplyDeleteB- Hair. That's what makeup is for!! You can mask bad skin days (usually) but your hair is on your head! And it's a pain. I would gladly take one month of not thinking about it!
ReplyDeleteI would rather have flawless skin. I've battled oily skin and acne all my life (until the past few years because of Accutane) so my skin has had influence on my self esteem. If I don't wake up with perfect hair, then oh well, I can always style it...like I usually do. ^_^
ReplyDeleteflawless skin...even with my daily regimen, my skin still breaks out often
ReplyDeleteI would pick B! It's SO humid where I live, so perfect hair is impossible! But that might be because I have very clear skin :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go for perfect skin. My skin isn't that bad, but it's on the dry side. The perfectly hydrated bit is what's grabbing me. I always just throw my hair in a ponytail anyway to keep it out of the way.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely A. I can work with the hair. Like others have said - you can't hide skin that has issues!
ReplyDeleteA . I would save so much time daily.
ReplyDeleteFlawless skin because I am cursed with enormous pores :(
ReplyDeleteI would totally say skin! Then I would spend more time on my hair lol
ReplyDeleteI would definitely choose beautiful skin. I don't have a problem with my hair and I can work with it. But to wake up everyday with beautiful, clear, smooth, and flawless skin.... would be lovely. I am cursed with oily skin and huge pores. I don't break out that often and only occasionally get a pimple. So not having to worry about my skin is doing from day to day would be wonderful. ;)
DeleteWithout hesitation, I say SKIN !! I have melasma and haven't had a face free of brow patches for about 13 years now :(
ReplyDeleteIf flawless meant that all signs of aging were to be gone, that I have to go with flawless skin...I have good skin, but aging is beginning to creep in...If I didn't have to worry about it I could spend more time on my hair!
ReplyDeleteA. All the way. Oh what I would do for flawless skin (that it would be that way even if I slept in makeup or forgot to moisturize is a BONUS!).
ReplyDeleteA because it's so much harder for me to achieve flawless skin than perfect hair.
ReplyDeletePersonally I already love my hair. Other than my metabolism which allows me to have an athletic body frame, I consider it the best part of my genetic lottery.
ReplyDeleteMy skin, on the other hand, is actually one of the worst things about my genetics. I've had horrible acne my entire life, and at 42 I still have small pimples regularly, though I never get huge breakouts like I did during adolescence. Even being under the care of a dermatologist for a few years in my teens didn't help at all.
And now on my new psych meds, I've discovered the wonders of combination skin, something I've never experienced in my life until the past six months. I've never had a problem with dry skin (other than the standard winter lips and hands) so I could just concentrate on countering the excessive oil without ever worrying about drying anything out. But now my meds dry out everything from the neck up, basically - dry mouth, dry eyes, and yes, dry skin. I've actually had to start putting moisturizer on my face, something that even a year ago would have *never* touched anything but my hands (and legs after shaving).
So between the acne scarring (thankfully mild, as the dermatologist did teach me how to prevent the worst of that, at least), the oily skin, and the dry, flaky skin...yeah, I'd *love* to have magically good skin, even for a month. If only so I knew what it looked like on me! ^_^
Wow--tough choice but I'm going to have to go with a: flawless skin. Because if you're skin is that good you could shave your head and still look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with perfect hair. My hair is pretty thin and really fine, and it tangles SO easily it's frustrating. What I wouldn't give for a day that it actually looks decent without a ton of work and a lot of volumizing hair spray... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with perfect hair. My skin is usually ok, but my hair is pretty thin and very fine, and it tangles SO easily it's just annoying. What I wouldn't give for a day that it looks decent without a ton of time and a lot of volumizing hairspray :P
ReplyDeleteI have pretty tamed skin and hair-I PROMISE I'm not bragging! LOL! I'll pass my blessings to someone else. Great question!!!
ReplyDeleteSkin! My poor acne scarred face is a mess, and getting older just makes it all worse. I can always wear a wig :)
ReplyDeleteThis question is killing me, I tell you. I cannot decide; it's like the Sophie's Choice of beauty questions!
ReplyDeleteLOL at Sophie's Choice!! Hahahaha! ;)
DeleteHair! I'm generally happy with my skin, although it's certainly not flawless. I'd love to not feel dry or have excess pigmentation. But my loosely curly/fuzzy hair is almost always in the bad to satisfactory range, even when I put in tons of effort and treat it very well (I don't abuse it with over styling). It's rarely awesome, but I'm constantly trying to make it better!
ReplyDeleteFor only one month? I would choose A, but I would be so heartbroken when the month was up! If I had perfect skin think of all the money I could save on makeup! I could buy more eye shadows instead of cover-up and foundation! What I wouldn't do to be rid of large pores....
ReplyDeletePerfect skin, hands down. I find my curly hair far easier to manage than my weird, hormonal skin.
ReplyDeleteSkin, hands down, no contest. Everything looks better with beautiful skin.. at that point you could just shave your head and still look awesome, lol.
ReplyDeleteFlawless skin. But I had to think about it. I find that when your hair looks perfect (if you can get it that way) everything looks polished even your face with minimal makeup. But having acne-prone, oily skin, flawless skin has been something I've alway wanted.
ReplyDeleteB, absolutely. I already have close to perfect skin (I baby it, use spf like crazy and have great genes). But my hair's another story----fine, thin and wiry as it goes gray. What a nightmare :+(
ReplyDeleteA - skin - without a doubt. I really don't care much about my hair; I keep it short so I don't have to mess with it much, and I've quit coloring it. Have a nice white streak growing in. But my skin, sigh... I have undereye circles envied by raccoons everywhere.
ReplyDeleteFlawless skin. My hair is fine, but my skin just keeps breaking out no matter what I do (or don't do).
ReplyDeleteHair! Hair!
ReplyDeleteMy skin is already quite good, so I don't have worries there.
flawless skin
ReplyDeleteB-Hair. My face is already pretty clear, and I actually like putting on a little makeup in the morning. My hair, however, is such a pain >:-[
ReplyDeletePerfect skin without a doubt!
ReplyDeletePerfect Hair. It would be lovely not to do my hair for a month and have it look perfect every day!
ReplyDeleteToo easy for me! Flawless skin w/o a doubt.
ReplyDeleteB! I'd love to have perfect hair. I have no major problems with my skin, but I hate my hair. Haha!
ReplyDeleteA- I struggle w/ my hair however, I struggle more to find the perfect concealer and foundation... so I'd rather go w/ flawless face!
ReplyDeleteb! I'm all about makeup and love that part of my routine in the morning, but boy does my hair get barely any love. I have nice skin, and thick semi wavy hair. so it seems a shame to "do" my face everymorning then just throw my hair in a ponytail, So gorgeous hair to match my makeup 'tude would be awesome :)
ReplyDeleteno brainer. flawless skin!
