What is your current favorite body wash or bar soap?
Right now I'm really enjoying the Sauve Naturals Creamy Milk & Honey Splash body wash (which I am actually planning on reviewing soon). The scent is delicious, it provides a nice, creamy lather and it's been good to my dry, wintertime skin. What body wash or bar soap have you been reaching for the most lately?
Funny. I am using the same one from Suave. I am a total Suave fan.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite body was is usually Caress, but last time I was at the store,I picked up Suave Coconut exfoliating body wash! What a treat!
ReplyDeleteYves Rocher! I've been using their body wash since I came to Belgium 3 years ago, and I rarely stray from them. Here you can get a very good deal, which makes them cheaper than drugstore stuff most of the time :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a dr Bronner's fan, especially the mint one. I love that it gives me a crazy manifesto to read in the shower, too.
ReplyDeleteI usually use just any old shower gel, but my skin has been incredibly dry and irritated lately, so I've been using a soapless (no SLS) and unfragranced shower gel from my local co-op... it's called NutriBiotic non-soap fragrance free super shower gel. I am loving it!
ReplyDeleteCurrently using the citrus body wash from Costco and it's pretty good :)
ReplyDeleteI have been using Ivory Clean & Simple, the aloe one. It smells really fresh and clean. I'm almost at the end of my 2nd or 3rd bottle. When the kids take a bath they use it too. It lathers really well and is pretty inexpensive.
ReplyDeleteI love the Jason Tea Tree Satin Shower wash! Natural + no SLSes = Happiness.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't have a body wash/soap love. I'm currently using BBW Coconut Passionfruit and praying that I can finish it soon; it feels nice and lathers well but I can't get past the scent. To me it smells overly sweet, like fruity coconut-filled candy dipped in honey and rolled in sugar.
ReplyDeleteAm loving Suave Peppermint and St Ives Creamy Coconut!:) Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCaress Evenly Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteTis the time for me to reach for Bath & Body Works twisted peppermint! BBW isn't the cheapest, but if you utilize their coupons plus sales, it works out well..I have about 12 or so of their body washes stocked up from sales + coupons. And then a bunch more from other brand body washes ...i'm a soap hoarder haha.
ReplyDeleteIm loving snow fairy by lush at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to finish off a bottle of Burt's Bees body wash in a citrusy ginger scent, I love how it leaves me skin smooth and the fragrance really wakes me up! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been using Caress Glowing Touch Body wash. It really illuminates the skin during the dull winter months, though it could be a bit more moisturizing.
ReplyDeleteDove bar soap, my all time favorite :)
ReplyDeleteI was using Tone Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Body wash which smelled LOVELY and tropical, but dried my skin ouuuutt (despite it's moisturizing claims, haha).
ReplyDeleteNow I'm using BBW Berry Vanilla, and it smells lovely as well, but dries me out. When will the dryness cycle end?? T_T
caress evenly gorgeous, and i think it kinda smells like angel perfume by thierry mugler.
ReplyDeleteTypically Olay Age Defying (dark purple lid). However, every once in a while I'll pick up a scented one - have gotten some great rec's from this thread. Currently a Pumpkin Eggnog whipped soap from my Secret Santa. My first whipped soap & must say I really like it! Will be looking for more of these. Not sure if these are Etsy/indie website items only or if more mainstream companies offer a whipped soap as well.
ReplyDeleteI use Irish Spring Icy Cool Blast bar soap most of the time... it smells really fresh and feels cool after hours of training (I do jiu-jitsu). For a body wash, finishing up the last bit of Philosophy's Vanilla Wafer! It smells soooo good, and even has a wafer recipe on the bottle!
ReplyDeleteDove is definitely one of my favorites and I keep going back to it. Haven't tried Suave though.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a Dove girl!! The green tea cool moisture bar is my all time favorite.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the dove beauty bars are great. They really are as moisturizing as the commercials claim!
ReplyDeleteI am bouncing between Suave Peppermint (the holiday LE) and Cherry Christmas from Philosophy! Got it as a gift. It funny, kind of, but it doesnt seem to lather as well and other Philosophy body washes... hmmm
ReplyDeleteI've been using Dove body wash in Plum & Sakura. It smells so pretty, and really helps to moisturize my skin! I can use it as a shave cream as well, which I really like!
ReplyDeleteSt. Ives Triple Butters Creamy Coconut body wash. It's creamy, lathers very well, and smells amazing!! So good for dry skin too!
ReplyDeleteVanilla Bean Noel for me! Got it free with a Buy 3 get 3 :D
ReplyDeleteI am loving Nivea's A Touch of Cashmere. My body feels clean and moisterized when I use it. I also love the smell and I tend to be sensitive to smells.
ReplyDeleteUsually I'm drugstore all the way - but I've been following my regular body wash with the Lush Ro's Argan. It's a in shower body conditioner. It takes the place of lotion, smells awesome and lasts all day. It is expensive ($30!!!), but "sigh" I'm in love.
ReplyDeleteGoat's milk soap I buy at Whole Foods or Canus brand I buy at drugstore.com. It's great for my sensitive, dry skin.
ReplyDeleteAnother one using Caress Evenly Gorgeous! I have so many body washes (and bar soaps) and usually rotate them out every couple of weeks, but I've been enjoying the exfoliating action and candy scent of this one too much to switch. It says it's burnt sugar and karite butter scent. Mmmmmmm burnt sugar, but what is karite? lol
ReplyDeleteB&BW Twilight Woods :D
ReplyDeleteI don't really like body wash much because they tend to dry me out big time. I've been using Basis bar soap lately and it's okay, but I'm not in love with it. I wish I could find a good soap that I like, but I feel so bad buying a bunch of soap that I might not use up.
