I just updated the master list with not only new products and shades, but a few new brands as well! Click here to take a peek.
Also, I wanted address a question I seem to be getting on a regular basis. I've been asked WHEN the CVS Beauty Clearance Sale ends. Well, based on past experience with this sale, it doesn't "officially" end. Since the point of this sale is for CVS to get old product out and move new product in, I've noticed that the sale usually ends when most of the old products are wiped out. If this sale is anything like the last Beauty Clearance Sales, we've still probably got at least two weeks (through the end of 2011) before it starts to wind down. But of course you'll get the best selection if you shop the sale NOW.
And I also want to let you know that last time around, when they reset the wall displays to accommodate the new products, some stores then moved the remaining clearance products to a big bin in the beauty department. Looking at my pic from the last sale, they moved the remaining clearance products to the bin in February, so again, we probably have a few more weeks to go.
I hope that helps, and if you have any new contributions for the master list, please don't send them to me via Twitter or Facebook. It's difficult for me to keep track of things coming in via multiple sources, so please leave your info on the master list post. Thanks so much!
Don't wait too long though, because sometimes they send things back to corporate if they're not selling. I've seen stuff on clearance for awhile and then when I finally decide to go get it I find that they've sent it back. -_-
ReplyDeleteIf the clearance items are not being discontinued (i.e. old stock that will be replaced with fresh), the register price will revert back to the original price. That's when they begin to sticker the old stock and move it to the clearance bin. At that point, you have to rely on the stickered price, rather than scanning the item. I hope that makes sense.
