Let's take a peek:
NYC limited edition Summer 2011 Bronze Bliss Collection
The very first things that caught my eye in this collection were the two limited edition Blushable Creme Stick highlights and bronzers! I loooove the Blushable Creme Sticks and I love them even more when they're highlighters and bronzers!
NYC Blushable Creme Sticks
Left: Gold Radiance
Right: Bronze Radiance
It's difficult to see in my pics, but Gold Radiance is a pale, muted champagne-gold shimmer (gorgeous!) and Bronze Radiance is a slightly richer (yet still muted) shimmery bronze. I'm completely obsessed these these shades--I think they would be so universally flattering on all skintones.
Next, we have three limited edition bronzer color wheels (these all contain shimmer):

The color combinations in all three of these color wheels are so gorgeous in person--I would never be able to decide on which one to get!
Next up: two LE Sparkle Eye Dusts:

Left: Topaz Shimmer
Right: Sun Kissed Sand

And last but not least, we have two LE Liquid Lipshines and two LE Lipstains:
NYC limited edition Liquid Lipshines
Left to right: Pink Cosmo and Midtown Mocha
NYC limited edition 16 HR Smooch Proof Lipstains
left to right: Tropic Tan and Coral Reef
If you saw my reviews of the NYC Lipstains and Liquid Lipshines, you know that I adore both of these products. So I'm super excited to see some LE shades from both lines. The shade name for the lipstain on the left (Tropic Tan) threw me off a little bit though because in person this is a bright, vivid hot pink (so pretty). Also, both Liquid Lipshines are shimmery--Midtown Mocha is a beautiful, rich brown and Pink Cosmo looks like a very wearable mid-tone berry-pink.
I also spotted this NYC display which also states that it's "Limited Edition":
As far as I know, the mascaras in this display are NOT limited edition, but maybe some of the mono eyeshadows are? I thought I saw some of these shades in the revamped core collection display, but I could be wrong. At any rate, there are lots of different shades in this display:
It was kind of difficult to see the texture of these shadows through the packaging, but it APPEARS that most of them are matte (I could be wrong, of course!).
So there you have it! Some new LE collections for you to hunt down! What do you think of these new goodies from NYC? Anything catch your eye?
Oh gosh i need those blushable creme sticks. they would make the perfect highlight. I also want the liquid lipshines and the pink lipstain.
ReplyDeleteI might also need the COlor Wheel in Bronze Bliss and the loose shadow in Sun-Kissed Sand.
ReplyDeleteA blogger said their eyeshadow are good, i should try them out.
ReplyDeleteThe shimmer sticks would be something I'd try as an eye highlighter and a lip glaze. I love the gold one.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Gold and bronze for summer is so awesome IMO. Cant wait to see these and score a few!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the Sparkle eye dusts.
ReplyDeleteI want to try the Creme Sticks and the new e/s singles!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love! I want especially to try the shadows.
ReplyDeleteMatte neon green eyeshadow?? :O
ReplyDeleteI had an old palette of Bronze eyeshadows from NYC that were so amazing...I used them until they were completely gone. If I remember correctly it was a golden brown, a coppery color, a gorgeous rose gold, and a champagne highlight and they were all so nicely pigmented and smooth...just picked up a similar WnW three-pan but I miss my old NYC one!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw this blog post I immediately knew I was going to head to my RiteAid to look for the Creme sticks, since I love the ones I own. Score, got the last ones, they should put more than 2 colors in the display. I really like the bronze one. Imo, the gold one is more shimmer/glitter than pigment, disappointed with that one.

ReplyDeleteI want the highlighting blushable creme stick, and I will be searching for it TOMORROW.
ReplyDeleteDo you know if these will be available anywhere but Rite Aid?
ReplyDeleteI'd been stalking RA since this post and just found it yesterday. I got both blushsticks, the Pearl and Golden Glow bronzers, both glosses and the Coral stain (the "Tan" one is definitely a misnomer).
ReplyDeleteSo far, love everything :) the Coral stain is close to Endless Spice in the regular line but less brown side-by-side, more of a warm nude pink than the true nude of Spice. The champagne color blushstick does have obvious glitter, unlike anything in the regular line but great it for evening sparkle, but way OTT during the day for me. The Bronzey blushstick is amazing, I might get a backup b/c it's perfect for an easy summer look. It's more pigmented, a true gold-bronze than Urban Spice from the regular line.
I also picked up the blue/wp Show Time mascara from the NY Color display but haven't tried yet. I've found very few reviews if any on these new (?) mascaras, have they not been out long?
