Wet n Wild clearance info

Thanks to many of you for the comments, tweets and emails regarding various Wet n Wild products you're spotting on sale right now!

It appears that the products on the official discontinued list are now on clearance at various stores around the country (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, Walmart, etc.) and that many of you are finding them for either 50% off or 75% off!

In other words, you might be able to get a $0.99 item for as low as $0.24!

Once again, here's the official list of discontinued Wet n Wild products:
  • I-Sparkle Eyeshadow
  • Lash Intense Mascara
  • MegaChrome Eyeliner
  • Arch Envy Color & Set
  • H2O Proof Blending Eye Pencil
  • MegaMixers Flavored Lip Balm
  • MegaLast Long Wear Dual Lip
  • Craze Nail Color
I also want to mention that since Walgreens and Walmart are no longer going to carry the 6-pans (since they are the exclusive retailers for the 8-pans), those will probably end up on clearance as well. (Note: the 6-pans are NOT being discontinued--they are just no longer going to be sold at Walgreens and Walmart. You can still purchase them at other retail locations.)

A few of you reported that you were able to find products NOT on the above list on clearance as well, so my suggestion would be to look for clearance signs at your local retail locations and don't hesitate to purchase something you want, because I'm SURE these clearance goodies will go quickly.

I also want to remind Rite Aid shoppers that ALL Jane Cosmetics are on clearance for 75% off (thanks to those who reported that Rite Aid is getting rid of Jane and is putting Rimmel in its place).

Happy Clearance Shopping! And if you have found additional WnW items on clearance in your area, please feel free to leave the details in a comment on this post! Thanks!

  2. I've never tried Wet N Wild polishes. How do you think that the compare to other polishes? Haha, I guess that for the clearance price I can take a risk!! Do you have any favorite shades from them?

  3. Linda: Thanks SO much for the coupon! Awesome! xo

AKB: Oh boy, I honestly don't even know where to start if you need recs. I have written over 100 posts on Wet n Wild on this blog, and many of them include nail polish swatches. I would just suggest googling "wet n wild nail polish swatches" and pick some shades that appeal to you. Sorry, but I just can't possibly suggest a few at this point--I own too many to even attempt to narrow it down!

  4. AKB: Actually, just google "Wet n Wild nail polish" in Google Images and more pics will come up. Hope that helps!

  5. I've never tried Wet n' Wild nail polishes before, but at $0.25, how could I pass that deal up?! I picked up 16 bottles LOL. This elderly man was watching me pick out all the goodies from the clearance end cap at CVS and came later to bring his wife :). I also saw a lot of the Prestige baked quads as well! And a TON of the SH Carmindy make-up is still there :).

Unless you live in OK, then you're screwed. Walmart and Walgreens are the only places that sell Wet n' Wild. Though it looks like they're trying to get CVS to carry them now in limited selections (i.e. - some of the new trios)

  7. Yeah Zombil, my CVS has a display of old WnW now. That was sort of weird since everyone wants the new stuff, why aren't they carrying new stuff???

  8. I'm so jealous of you guys in the US. Not only you have great drugstore brands at affordable prices, but you also have sales on them lol.
