ReplyDeleteI didn't like the event. In order to get the free tote and lotion, you have to purchase a FULL SIZE signature collection item. You can't get it with a travel size one. But the coupon said ANY signature item.
ReplyDeleteOriginally I wanted the tote because it looked cute in the email but in person it is a pink clear plasticy tote with flowers (good for little girls). I just purchased some wallflowers that were on sale.
My sister and I thought it was full-size items too and she went to buy something little and they gave her a bag and said any size item. Maybe it depended on the store?
ReplyDeleteThe coupon for the free tote was unnecessary, as they were just handing those bad boys out. I did receive a coupon in the mail for a free item (up to $13) with a $10 purchase. Which I used. So I ended up with 5 full size items (including that free lotion) for $30. Xmas shopping is done for at least one person!
ReplyDeleteIf you have a twenty percent off coupon (expiring tomorrow) you can combine that. The cashier forgot to ring my coupon, but at the end of the day I received:

So...a little over seventy dollars of product for 45! The bag IS kinda dinky, but would be great to pack a small lunch or snack to the beach since sand won't be creeping in.

At my store, travel sizes counted. (The coupon actually *did* say 'full size signature item,' though.) So I got it with a travel size lotion. Not actually liking Country Chic very much, though-- can p much only smell sweet lemon, not my thing. Still, free!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the event...nobody mentioned here ...but were you able to vote on a new scent that is going to be coming out? There were 4 sprays and they had a voting ballot and you sample them, then cast your ballot! The sales girls said that whichever one got the most votes, that was going to be the one to be released soon! There was also a sales girl doing signs ups for the next BBC card! :) I really liked the free tote and the new Country Chic scent! I also did the buy 2 get one free...and I got a 20% off coupon in the mail for this event. There was another coupon that came with that, it was for a free travel sized item but it is good till April 17th, so I saced that one for another day. <3
ReplyDeleteTravel sizes counted at my BBW. I bought 5 pocket bacs and travel size Carried Away, got the tote and lotion for 5.00 plus tax!
ReplyDeleteI had a coupon buy one get one free, bought Apricot Vanilla body wash and body cream got the tote and free lotion for 11.34! I had another coupon for a free travel size, but decided not to be the little piggy and happily left with my purchases.
So what did everyone think of the new scents?
I really liked #2 you could smell the orange blossom in it, my daughter liked #4. So with our luck, we prolly crossed each other out.
Hubby not totally thrilled wit the Apricot Vanilla but loved the new Country Chic. So hopefully they will launch it soon so I can grab the body wash and spritz =)

ReplyDeleteI went yesterday but walked away empty handed as I did not like the Country Chic scent nor the tote (for little girls to play with?).
ReplyDeleteThe SA told me the new scent we were voting for will be released for Summer 2012!
Anyway I voted for 4, #2 seemed very similar to my currect fave Forever Sunshine.
