The Wednesday Question

This week's question is one that I've been wanting to ask you, dear readers, for a while now. I can't wait to see your responses!

Do you ever wear false eyelashes and, if so, which kind do you use?

I just bought (today) some Ardells and I'm kind of excited to try them. I haven't worn falsies in a very, very long time so I'm sort of nervous about application. Do you wear falsies?

  1. Ooh I wear all types of lashes when I go clubbing, but I really like Shisem's half lashes that you wear on your outer corners. Have you heard of them? They're Korean I think.

  2. I've worn false eyelashes since I was in High School ! I've purchased so many styles, colors, and prices. Sephora makes some that I like very much. Everyday lashes I use are Ardell in a light brown color with a transparent strip. Makeup Forever has a nice lash Genevieve and the Julie is light and natural. For special occasions I love wearing Diamond from the Sephora Collection. Glue, Have used Duo for years. But I like the one from Sephora too. Love, love, love wearing lashes. They are easy, and at the end of the night just gently lift them off. Always on the look out for new types.

  3. I'm rather new at applying false lashes so I purchased 40 pairs for something like 8$ from ebay so I could practice my application. They're all plastic and big and not very good looking but I've gotten som ecompliments. So far my favorite kind is the criss-cross kind, they look most natural.

  4. I have falsies and wore them quite often when I was in my late twenties. I'm just now getting back into wearing them again. But I find that I dread the fuss-factor with application. I LOVE the way they look once I get them on, but it's time consuming for me.
I have some Revlon and Ardell lashes I use. I have a pair of ELF but they are so thick and dense, I can't see how they could look natural. lol I should try them, just for fun, though.

  5. i love them for fancy nights out and holiday time! Word of warning practice, practice, practice other wise you have a risk of gluing lashes to lids! been there done that! :) I always go for Ardell!

  6. I like Darkness lashes (a Korean brand) because they're cheap and good quality. Those are for my strip lashes. Lately, I've been really into individual lashes and for those, I stick with Ardell lashes. They're high quality! :)

  7. I love them, but I have a hard time applying them so I tend to shy away from them. They seem to just complete a beautiful eye look.

  8. I am a false lash version. I have one pair and some duo glue and I'm waiting for when I'm ready to try them. I plan to use ardell if I get into them.

  9. I've tried the Revlon Fantasy Lashes that come with the black glue strip. It looks really strange b/c of the way my eyelids are shaped I think, kind of scary up close.

  11. HATE applying them! It just hasn't gotten easy for me. But I absoulutely love how they look if applied correctly! I really like Ardell. I bought a bunch of pairs off ebay for like $.99 and they are just trash. Good question because I'd like to venture into other brands but don't want to waste my money!

  12. Unfortunately I have a latex allergy so, eyelash adhesives irritate my eyes. I managed to find a latex free adhesive but, it is the consistency of hot glue and I haven't had any success using it! Because of this, I only wear lashes on special occasions but when I do, my favorite pair is Sugar Cosmetics Angel Flirt Lashes.

  13. I watched YouTube and fell in love with the whole glam thing but I'm a budget girl so beauty supply stores is my place to shop a few brands that I like are Kiss I Envy, Carie & Sassi and these range from $2.99-$1.99 and if u handle them right they can be used a couple of times but
    Practice,practice,practice
