The Wednesday Question (Thanksgiving Edition)

Sorry this is a day late, but better late than never!

Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you'll take a moment to answer this week's question!

What one drugstore beauty product are you the most thankful for?

I know that seems kind of shallow, and you were probably expecting me to ask you what you're thankful for in general, but you know me--I've always got to bring it back around to cheap makeup! Ha! My answer to this week's question is: Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF50 Powder Foundation. Finally, an easily accessible drugstore powder foundation for us powder-foundation-lovin' gals. I don't understand why there aren't more quality powder foundations available at the drugstore, but now that we have PF, I find I don't really need to try another. What drugstore product are YOU the most thankful for?

  1. I like the question. We can post on Facebook the altruistic answers of thanksgiving. ;)

I found Sally Hansen's lip primer. After finishing up my Laura Geller's lip primer, which I love, I didn't want to continue to have to order from QVC. Through some attempts, I found SH's primer. And it works! I'm trying to learn how to photo my face and particularly my eye(s) and lips to do reviews. This primer is one I'd like to do a review on.

  2. The drugstore product I'm most thankful for is Maybelline's Volum' Express mascara, with the curved brush. Though I constantly try out new mascaras I always repurchase this one :)

  3. Revlon colorstay liquid foundation for oily/combination skin, 100%. Gives me flawless skin (except from major blemishes) love, love LOVE! xx

  4. Let's see here, the most obvious to me would be that I'm thankful for concealer because my mac select cover up covers really well.

BUT, in all honesty, I am the most thankful for my Milani Liquifeye. Ever since I found this, putting on eyeliner has been so easy. I LOVE this eyeliner and I would recommend it to everyone.

  5. NYC blush sticks. Incredibly inexpensive yet you get a ton of product, and the quality really stands up to high end cream blushes that I've tried. Love! It's a product that I can just slap on when I'm in a hurry and I know it'll look good.

  6. At this time of year, as it's getting colder, I'm especially thankful for Carmex lip balm, the classic round pot. Oldie but a goodie, keeps my lips from chapping and I use it under my dryer lipsticks.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving! I'm definitely thankful for my Equate Medicated Acne Gel. It's like a magic bullet against zits.

This reminds me, I need a new bottle. I am not nearly brave enough to venture through the Black Friday crowds at Wal-Mart, though, so it will have to wait for the madness to subside.

  9. Hmmm, probably my Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick in "Rum Raisin." It feels amazingly moisturizing (like balm), and is the perfect sheer color. I can put it on without a mirror, which means it must be awesome!

I'm also thankful for this blog :). It's my favorite of any blog I've ever read and I check it every day! I love everything about it. Thanks, G!

  10. I love the question! I have been really into cat eyes for a while; I think I have to say I'm most thankful for my Almay liquid liner. That liner never lets me down and is sooo easy to use! I think you're a fan of it too, right?

  11. Id have to say drugstore wise i am most thankful for WNW tinted moisturizer. I skin needs all the moisture it can get and i keep coming back to WNW Sunkissed. I like better than Bobby Brown and Chanel!!! It has enough color to brighten and applies smoothly!!

  12. Yardley of London Oatmeal & Almond Soap. I have been using this for years & always go back to it. It smells great, exfoliates, works well on my sensitive skin and it's economical. Great stuff!

  13. I don't have one particular product, but I'd have to say drugstore mascara in general. I have 5 mascaras in rotation, and they are all surprisingly good with no flaking and very little smudging. No smudging now in fact, but during the summer months the worst that would happen is that it looks like I'm going for the smokey eye look, not total raccoon eyes.

  14. I will always be stuck on the Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliner in Fearless Teal. Great color, ease of application, staying power - rocks all around.

  15. Revlon Colorstay Foundation, it keeps me matte for hours and I don't have to worry about blotting and powdering ;)
