Essence (a very affordable brand from Germany sold exclusively at
Ulta in the US) and look at these new goodies!

ReplyDeleteWearing the Essence color "Choose Me" right now that I picked up at Ulta yesterday. It's a gorgeous glittery aqua/teal similar to OPI's "Catch Me In Your Net" but only $0.99 for a mini bottle, and it's opaque in 2 coats.

Good to know...I've been waiting for them to get in a new Essence collection. I just hope it will reach the Ulta's in my area soon, I'm gonna call before I make the long trek.
ReplyDeleteThis Limited Edition was so hyped here (I live in Belgium)! Be sure to get ALL of the polishes, I have the dark blue one and I regret not buying more. Also, the gelliners seemed to be worth the money, so be sure to pick those up as well. As far as the rest goes, it's not all that great quality. So polishes and eyeliner!

ReplyDeletesadly, Ulta is too far for me. I would not be able to shop there. However, I have been eyeing on the nail stamp from Essence. It seems nice, but I have no idea when will I get to buy it and try it out.
ReplyDeleteooo, Ulta is far for me too. i really wish they would expand. i want the Metals bad but of course they're not in my area yet. we got the surfer collection a few months late, so hopefully they'll arrive soon.
ReplyDeleteI got the bright pink, I think its called High Waist pink? I picked it up today, but I didnt see that brownish color...hmm.

ReplyDeletethose eyeshadows seem superpigmented. i just ran my finger lightly across them and i couldnt get the color off for hours. i might have to go buy them...

ReplyDeleteI joined the forum/website and there are many products that everyone loves there, but the one I hear the most raves about besides the nail polishes, is the skin care line. The women with sensitive skin say it never breaks them out, and the ones with acne says it clears that right up.
ReplyDeleteAll the European women are envious that we can buy Essence online, you can't do that over there, you have to buy it in a shop. I thought that was a surprising little bit of information.
About two or three days after I joined the site, I won a giveaway... but, I never received it. It got lost in the mail, and I messaged the site admin, she said they would resend. That was over a week ago, and I didn't get the resent mail either. I'm so bummed. It was a new product that isn't even on the market yet, those nail stickers that are real polish. I would love to give you all a review and show you pictures. Anyway, maybe they will show up eventually. *sigh*
This is the second international prize I've "won" but was never delivered. I'm lucky, but I'm not.
i ADORE their concealer wheel- the concealer part is too dark for me but the pink and green correctors are fab and it's so cheap! i also had pretty decent success with their shadow singles (regular, not baked), though a primer helps as the pigments fade otherwise.

so far what i have tried from them has worked for me!
I have to pass by Ulta every day on my way to and from work. I'll have to start scouting there for you. Half the time I end up telling the staff about new polishes that are coming out. It's kinda fun, actually!
