What will be your signature scent this spring?
and the bonus question:
What's your favorite Easter candy?
When the weather warms up each year, do you dust off an old favorite, or do you purchase something new? I love returning to my collection of soft, clean florals and fresh, tart citrus scents, and this spring I am REALLY looking forward to finding the Dove Pomegranate body mist (which I already have in body wash form). I still have not found this in body mist but hopefully it will show up soon. So how about you? What will be your go-to fragrance this spring?
And as for my favorite Easter candy, that's easy: click here.
I have dozens Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab scents for every season of the year. Today I kicked off spring with Opuhi.
ReplyDeleteCadbury Creme Eggs!
I think I'll get a lot of wear out of my Lush Sakura solid perfume this spring, as well as my Gap Grass EDT and Le Petit Prince EDT. All very fresh, somewhat green scents.
ReplyDeleteHm..my favorite easter candy? Jellybeans! The good kind, not the ones that are just colored sugar iwht the same generic taste for each one.
My signature scent will be Pacifi Paradise, by Escada. I also love Fancy by Jessica Simpson, but it's an heavier scent.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Easter candy would be... chocolate, of course xD
My scent will be the same as it always is...Aquolina Pink Sugar - love that stuff! So many perfumes make me sneeze and/or give my husband a headache and this one doesn't.
ReplyDeleteAs for candy - I guess it would have to be either a Dove milk chocolate bunny (dipped in peanut butter! LOL) or PEEPS! I just had some blue ones as an after-lunch snack. :)
Right now for early spring, I like Hanae Mori Butterfly... when it gets warmer it might be a little much/overbearing and I'll probably switch to Lolita Lempicka.
ReplyDeleteAs for favorite easter candy... don't have one, but I'm snacking on Gobstoppers right now!
i just got that body wash too!!!
ReplyDeletei always get bored before completing a bottle of perfume. i am currently ekeing out a sample of Couture Couture (I don't really dig Juicy but this perfume smells like wine and gardenias and a bit like apple.) i think this year i will focus on using up my current scents so i can buy myself a new one next Christmas when they're all at good prices!
my favourite Easter candy is either a single Cadbury Creme egg or their solid ones that look like robins' eggs.
For spring, I'll probably continue to work on my bottle of Guerlain My Insolence, as it's fruity and a little violet-y and smells really good. When it gets hot, I go with Ralph Cool.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter candy is Cadbury mini eggs, the solid chocolate ones with the candy eggshell. Yummy!!!
Vanilla is my year round scent! : ) Peeps are my fave Easter candy, hands down!
ReplyDeleteI really like Harajuku Lovers G and Davidoff Cool Water..such a classic. But I am looking into new scents right now.
ReplyDeleteAnd my fave candy is Reese's eggs. Better than regular Reese's because there's more PB!
I don't have a signature scent. Lately, colognes and stuff make my allergies go insane. Lame, right?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter candy is Peeps! My second favorite is any other type of candy goodness. :-)
My new scent is Very Hollywood by Michael Kors (it's a sweet and flowery scent). My fav Easter candy would have to be Heavenly Hash eggs. I like to put them in the freezer before eating them. This way it will take me longer to eat one and I'm not as tempted to eat another!
ReplyDeleteLately I've been wearing Bath & Body Works Wild Honeysuckle & Butterfly Flower body mists. I like the light floral scents for spring! As for candy...I've been nursing a bag of Reese's peanut butter chocolate eggs for about a week. I can't stop eating them they are so good!
ReplyDeleteI usually get out my bottle of Sheer Stella byStella McCartney every spring. It just smells like spring flowers in bloom.
ReplyDeleteI just love to wear my Happy to Be by Clinique. It is so light and refreshing... but makes me feel oh so naughty LOL
ReplyDeleteas for Easter candy... Black Jelly Beans! Can't get enough of them!
Great questions! I think if it's not too hot I will wear a perfume. I just bought Covet, and it's really strong; so I think it will be too much for warm weather. In the hotter months I usually stick to body sprays, at least for day. I think I will probably go with my new With Love by hilary duff (a bit embarrassing) until the weather gets very hot.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite easter candy...that's hard because I'm a dark chocolate person and most easter candy is milk. Hopefully they will make some dark chocolate bunnies!
@ PoorCollegeStudent - Dove makes a solid dark chocolate bunny! I just bought my hubby one today! :)
ReplyDeleteMy spring scent is BBW's PS I Love You: Spring Fling! I Love that is smells like a fresh floral bouquet lol. This weekend BBW offered BOGO free and i got the lotion and spray for 10.50!
ReplyDeleteMY favorite Easter candy is anything by Reese's!
I'm going to try out the new spring scents from Haus of Gloi, almost all body stuff I use now is from their Etsy.
ReplyDeleteWhoppers Eggs are the best! I already bought a bag and ate them all in a day >_<
escada moon sparkle :). yum. so happy and fruity.
ReplyDeleteas for candy, cadbury creme eggs, no question :P.
I usually try to go for lighter, floral scents come springtime, but honestly, I just put on whatever I'm in the mood for at the time.
ReplyDeleteAs for favorite Easter candy... basically, if it's candy, I will eat it :D I lean towards Jelly Belly and Peeps at this time of year, though.
My current spring scent is Harajuku Lovers in Love, although I might buy the new Bath & Body Works scent, Orange Sapphire (yum!).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter candies are those Cadbury mini eggs (they look like little robins' eggs).
@JenJen thank you so much! I'll be sure to buy it when easter candy is on clearance!
ReplyDeleteLately I've really been using my Stila Mandarin mist perfume. It is a really light citrusy scent, perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteAs for Easter candy, I equally love Peeps, the chicks not the bunnies :), Reese's Egg shaped peanut butter cups, and Cadbury Eggs.
Aqualina Pink Sugar (which I grabbed at a great price from Scentiments thanks to a heads up from you). Favorite candy would be Starburst jelly beans. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteLike the poster said before me, I love vanilla scents all year round! I also just picked up butterfly flower from BBW, but I've only worn it once so far and I like it.
ReplyDeleteWhen the bugs start coming out, I usually quit with fragrance for the season. Our house is in a swamp and the mosquitoes are as big as helicopters. They don't bother me as much as they do some people, but once your fragrance is on, well...it's on. The only way of using fragrance then is to put it on before going out at night so any residual can be showered off in the morning. :-(
ReplyDeleteI started a bottle of "Danielle" by Danielle Steele about a month ago, and I'm not loving it anymore. Nevertheless, I pitched a fit for it so I am going to use it till it's all gone, whenever that is.
It's going to be that much harder to do, though because yesterday my daughter handed me a bottle of Butterfly Flower from BBW and I am in LOVE with its long-lasting lovely honeysuckle scent. Whatever is a girl to do?
Gotta say that no bugs was another bonus in our CA stint last summer. The possibility exists that May will find us headed that way again, and I won't be sorry. I wore fragrance all summer last year for the first time and it was wonderful.
I don't have a signature scent as I love to wear whatever, whenever, lol, but I just got some stuff from Body Confections [hi Audra! xox], and the Green Tea scent is so super YUMMMMM, I think I'll be busy pouring that all over mahself till it runs out [at which point I'm hoping she'll be opening up shop so I can git meh MORE!], lol! I also wish that Shiseido hadn't dc'd their Energizing Fragrance *weeps* truly unique
ReplyDeletefave Easter candy as of right now -2nd the Reese's eggs for the heaps of pb, Peeps of course, and malted robins' eggs, aka Whoppers.
and pretty much anything else that passes for candy, lol
