There's a new addition to the Love's fragrance family and it's called "Heart Throb" (retail: $11.99, 1.5 oz). Now, just for fun, I tried to guess what this new fragrance smelled like before I tested it. For some reason I thought it might be spicy, like a Red Hot Candy. Am I crazy for thinking that?
Anyway, I was wrong. Totally wrong. According to the box, this fragrance is "The perfect combination of wild berries with a touch of exotic chocolates [that] will make your heart melt and leave you feeling absolutely edible." Sounds yummy, right? Well, it is! It's completely delightful. To my nose, the base of this fragrance is the original Love's Baby Soft, but it's been kicked up a notch with the addition of berries (to my nose it's predominantly strawberry) and chocolate notes. It's sweet, it's playful and so fun!
Have you spotted this little gem at your local drugstore yet? Do you already own a bottle? As always, I'd love to know your thoughts.
I didn't know Love's still exists, even in its original form. I used to enjoy the Rain scent but haven't thought about it for years. I'll check this out soon. Thanks!
