NEW L'Oreal Colour Riche Les Blancs Collection
(retail: $4.99 each, 0.33 oz)
There are six shades in this collection--four pastel cremes (green, lilac, white and peach) and two speckled polishes (pink and blue).
I can't make out the shade names of the two speckled polishes, but I think the cremes are Mint Glacé (or is that Ganache?), Sweet Lilac, a la Meringue and Peach (I don't know the second word...I though it was negligee but that wouldn't make sense if these are all food-based names). You all are MUCH better at figuring out shade names in display pics than I am, so if you figure the others out (or you've seen these display in person), please leave a comment and let us know. Thanks!
Some of these cremes remind me of last Spring's Limited Edition Versailles Romance Collection, but these colors look more pale in comparison. Do you agree? I'm excited to see those speckled polishes in person to see what the glitter combinations are like. I know we've seen pink speckles before, from a variety of brands (Illamasqua Scarce, Hard Candy Cotton Candy Pink, Deborah Lippmann I'm Not Edible, etc.) and we've seen blue speckles before (Illamasqua Fragile, Hard Candy Jelly Bean Blue, Deborah Lippmann Rockin' Robin, etc.) but it's nice to have some at the drugstores and from a brand that often has coupons and goes on sale.
Have you spotted the new Les Blancs Collection at your local drugstores yet? Thoughts? I don't see the words "limited edition" on this display (I think the text underneath the model indicates what shade she's wearing), so hopefully that means these are permanent.
Thanks so much, Cyndiinphilly, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!
Yes, I saw them today at my Bed, Bath and Beyond too. Did not buy any yet but love the Speckles.
ReplyDeleteThe mint one looks like "mint glaceé" if that helps!
ReplyDeleteThese look soft and pretty for spring. I know pastels are a huge trend for spring. I've got my eye on that mint green one. I 'll have to see the speckled ones in person. Hopefully they are going to have an eye and lip and possibly cheek collection that would go with this...I'll be on the lookout for this display. Thanks for the heads up! :D
ReplyDeleteIt is negligee. Well, the French spelling - "neglige"
ReplyDeleteI guess it kind of makes sense - the overall theme isn't so much food as French stuff in general.
The peach looks like "Peach Neglige"
ReplyDeleteThe color on the model looks quite sheer with visible nail lines or else it is a french manicure which also makes sense. I like the idea of both ways, it may be nice to have a pastel that is sheer and not streaky, though I don't know that those two things can go hand in hand. I have not seen these in store yet, but look forward to it!
ReplyDeleteI saw these today at Bed Bath & Beyond :)
ReplyDeletePink Speckled is "le pastille" & Blue is "spot me"! I found them at Kmart! So pretty!
