L'Oreal has officially thrown its hat into the textured nail polish ring and I have to say, this one was worth the wait. If you like sparkly textured polishes, I think there are at least a few must-haves in this collection--just wait until you see the pics!
Huge thanks to Claudia of Chromatic Misadventures (@cmp381 on Instagram) for this sighting. Claudia spotted this collection at her local Harmon this week so, once again, if you live near a Harmon or a Bed Bath & Beyond with an extended beauty department, I'd look there first. If this collection follows the pattern of other new collections that have landed at Harmon/BBB first, I'd give it two or three weeks until we see it at CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, etc.
Also, the display doesn't indicate that this collection is limited edition so I can't confirm either way (although if I had to put money on it, I'd say that it is limited edition).

ReplyDeleteMeh. Since I don't care for textures, none of these are grabbing my attention. Maybe once I see them in person, I'll change my mind. I've ended up getting a couple of textures like OPI Alcatraz Rocks! that I plan to wear exclusively with topcoat.
ReplyDeleteI got three of these today - Too Dimensional?, Hidden Gems and Sexy in Sequins. These are the most unique textured polishes I've ever seen. Too Dimensional reminds me of Hard Candy Mr Wrong. Hidden Gems looks duochrome in the bottle but on the nail is just a deep teal with sparse larger silver glitters. Sexy in Sequins is a deep purple base with multi-color glitter that is so, so pretty. I love these!

ReplyDeleteI'm super late on the whole textured polish thing but I just picked up four of these today and I'm super excited to try them. I'm such a sucker for champagne gold anything, which also resulted in my impulse buy of the Butter London holiday set that included a mini bottle of The 444. My boyfriend is going to be very upset that I'm still buying makeup. But how can I help such it if it's such a good deal? ;)

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Too Dimensional?, but was disappointed by the wear. They had huge chips in them by day 2 & that was with several coats of your fave top coat from NYC. So I'm bummed that the manicure doesn't last longer. This is my second bottle of L'Oreal polish & I had the same experience with that one too. Is anybody else having problems with chipping?

ReplyDeleteI saw these in the permanent display in Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday. I thought they had been discontinued and had missed out on getting more colors, but it looks like I can go back and add to my collection! Yay! These are some of my favorite texture polishes in terms of interesting colors.
