I received confirmation from five lovely readers today that the Country Charmer Collection has officially landed at Walgreens, and there are five new shades in that collection (click here to see them).
And then just today, readers Brie and Madelyn spotted this end-cap display at their Walgreens locations:

New Sinful Colors End-Cap Display at Walgreens
Keep reading for exciting news about this display (a hard-to-find favorite has made a reappearance!)
As you can see, the Country Charmer Collection is in this display, along with the Glam Rock and Heart & Soul collections. Thanks, Brie of Simply Thrifty Nails, for this photo of the end-cap display!
As luck would have it, reader Madelyn spotted the Glam Rock collection too, and shared some pics:

Sinful Colors Glam Rock Collection
Let's get this out of the way before we talk about the new shades: Madelyn confirmed that the hard-to-find shade Envy has made a reappearnce in this display (the green shade above)! For those of you unfamiliar with Envy, it's a dupe for OPI Jade is the New Black. Woot!
According to Madelyn, there are two NEW shades in the Glam Rock collection as well. One is a brick red (sorry, I don't know the name of it but you can see it above) and also this one:

Madelyn also said that the Country Charmer section in the above display contained two shades that were NOT in the Country Charmer counter display (these could have been misplaced and might belong elsewhere in the larger display though):

I wish that I could remember who shared this with me on Instagram, but in case you were wondering, Song of Summer and Pistache (from a previous LE collection) are NOT the same. I saw a photo of side-by-side bottle shots and they are definitely different shades of green (just in case you were wondering if you "needed" Song of Summer!).

And reader Amy Lyn was nice enough to share some pics of the shades she purchased as well:

And last but certainly not least, reader Maxilian shared this side-by-side comparison of Rain Song and Let Me Go. Remember I was thinking that Rain Song might be very similar to Bali Mist? Well, that's not true, but check this out:

Rain Song (new) versus Let Me Go (core):
The look identical to me!
Thank again, to everyone who contributed to this post. I can't express to you how much I appreciate all the information, tips and photos. I know it takes a lot of effort to submit photos and info like this and I'm forever grateful.
That display played tricks on my eyes! I thought it was 5 new displays!!! I think my wallet's heart dropped when I realized how much money I was going to spend on polish I didn't "NEED". Glimmer looks almost identical to Forget Now. That's the first thought that went through my head when I saw the bottle shot. Also, are these limited edition? I'm pretty sure they are but the display is just SO huge!
ReplyDeleteYes! That was my first thought too: Glimmer looks like a re-promote of Forget Now.
DeleteI like the new shades. And, Coffee will be new-to-me anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteIn person, Rain Song actually looks a lot like Let Me Go (core).
ReplyDeleteI went through the whole tiered display at my location. The other "new" colors are 1208 Berry Charm and 1207 Beau Brique.
Berry Charm, Glimmer, Silver Screen, and Opening Night all look really familiar.
That display looks like a disorganized mess, like they didn't know what shades went where! >_< That, or Sinful has a strange ideas of which colors fit which designated collection.
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to find this display. One Walgreen checked, two to go! Fingers X'd
ReplyDeleteGlimmer does look like Forget Now, but F.N. is one of my all-time favorite Sinful Colors!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I was in two Walgreens on Saturday and neither had any new Sinful. Guess I'll have to go back. :)
ReplyDeleteI spotted this yesterday and was so excited because I thought it was the country chic display but saw more shades so I was confused. I was so excited to find Envy and I picked up the brick red, Beau Brique. I also spotted the pale green, Song of Summer, which is a very light green, almost like a cream with a touch of green, and Skylark, that very pale peach, with is like a cream color with a hint of peach. I had high hopes for that Grain de Ponce, but it looks a lot like SC's Nirvana, except maybe with a touch more pink.
ReplyDeleteWow; so many choices (and such little time and $$, lol). I agree, "Glimmer" does look a lot like "Forget Now", which is an "almost" dupe to Wet n Wild Megalast's "Punch it Up" (which can be found at most Dollar General stores)and Butter London's "Disco Biscuit". All of these are more like "first cousins" than dupes, but they will definitely satisfy your Disco Biscuit cravings. Now I'm going to have to find a local Walgreen's that has this new display. Where I live we never even got the "Bare Essentials" Sinful Colors this spring (with the HTF "Bare"). I don't know what I'd do without Nouveau Cheap and the fantastic sitings!
ReplyDeleteI have called and visited several Walgreen's in my area looking for these colors and I have been unable to find them. Does anyone know if Rite Aid will get these colors? SC is so slow to update their FB and website.
ReplyDeleteThat deep red color is Beau Brique 1207. I would call it a true brick red. It swatched with one coat, nice coverage, no streaks. It's not as dark as Cross My Heart, but has similar red/orange tones. I would say it is as dark as Ruby Ruby but with a definite orange undertone. It's a perfect fall red. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe Walgreens that that display is from just didn't stock it correctly. It says right on the display that the glam rock collection is metallics therefore silver screen belongs in glam rock and not in country chic. And the country chic colors are all pale colors. I go back to work on Friday, if you still need pictures of everything, I can take them after work.
ReplyDeleteYou're an angel! :)
Delete@velvetfrogg Could you? I would also love to know what colors are in each collection. None of my walgreens have this collection yet :(
ReplyDeleteAlright. I took pictures of everything that was in the display in my store but it wasn't "right" either. It looked like the employee that put it out had combined a few displays with this one because there were colors all around and not just in the holes. Some of it are core colors and I don't know what came with the displays or is just overstock colors. But I bought Opening Night and Glimmer. lol. Glimmer looked different enough and BETTER than Forget Now. It seemed like it was less sheer and more pink. Plus things weren't where I thought they should have been like some of the metallics weren't in the glam rock display. Even if they were boxed that way, the OCD in me would have set it up in a way that made more sense.
ReplyDeleteMy display had Daddy's Girl, Rain Song, Mesmerize, Secret Admirer, Opening Night, Black on Black, Sugar Sugar, Berry Charm and Glimmer in the Glam Rock display. Ruby Ruby, Pink Forever, Beau Brique, Unicorn, You Just Want, Social Ladder and Envy in the Heart and Soul display. Then in the Country Chic was Flirting Nails, Southern Belle, Silver Screen, Coffee, Vacation Time, Graine De Poivre, Song of Summer, and Skylark. My pictures are worse than I thought now that I'm home. I was in my work uniform and got interuppted about 10 times (unlock the bathroom, refund, ring me up) and I was off the clock but would have to stop what I was doing and go find someone who was working. I finally stopped, made my purchase (4 sinfuls and 3 wet n wild's pop craze colors) and went home.
Oooh I see metallic that look good for stamping!
ReplyDeleteOk now I need Envy and Song if Summer, ha! I knew I was gonna cave eventually :)
ReplyDeleteUnicorn is the worst staining polish I've ever used. FYI.
ReplyDeleteI just found the display (as she was putting it out) in my local rite aid.. they had the Glam Rock displays full of old colors.. I'm assuming that they were sold out and they just replaced them with the core colors....
ReplyDeleteI just got Song of Summer because the hot pink one looks like so many that I have... Vacation time also looks like I might have a dupe in my collection... and well.. I'm happy with that purchase lol
Glimmer is almost identical to forget now it's maybe one iota darker red and has purple flecks in it where as forget now is all pinkish red. and Graine De poirve is almost a spitting image of Nirvana....
