A couple days ago, I shared with you a photo from Nylon Magazine of one of the shades of in the new Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Color Collection called Plume. Well thanks to reader @jen_jenn_jennn, I've got another shade to show you in this soon-to-hit-drugstores collection:

Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Color in Azure
(retail: $7.99, 0.33 oz)
@jen_jenn_jennn spotted this photo in the current edition of People StyleWatch (print edition) and was nice enough to share. Azure doesn't look as duochrome-y as Plume, but it's gorgeous nonetheless!
Thanks so much, @jen_jenn_jennn, for the great scoop and pic!
When any of you spot this collection in stores, please let us know! I hope we can find them soon.
$7.99? This had better be some damn fine Sally Hansen. For the same price I could get an Essie, or for 50c more an OPI.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, I have some SH polishes that are beyond amazing (In a Flurry, anyone?), but they're not as consistently great as brands near Lustre Shine's price point.
Agreed!
DeleteExactly what I thought too. :(
DeleteIt seems to usually take at least a month from when I start seeing swatches of new nail polish collections until it actually shows up in my town (if it shows up at all; I'm still trying to hunt down the W&W Saved By The Nail polishes). I just BARELY spotted one display of Revlon's Moon Candy polishes, which I've been after for what feels like forever!
ReplyDeletethe Saved by the Bell collection is dupes of the Spoiled neon colors
DeleteAzure looks seriously gorgeous! I won't desperately drive from store to store stalking it down, but if I do find it, and it falls into my shopping basket, I won't say no to it! ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, G., whenever I click on links to your posts in Google Reader I just get redirected to google.com. I think this just started today.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does it look, from the two colors spotted, that they may be duping the China Glaze Bohemian Luster collection? I'm thinking Rare and Radiant, and Want my Bawdy (terrible name). Interesting because the price point is about the same, but I think SH bottles are smaller. I hope they AREN'T dupes, because I can find the CG easily. I'm ready for something different! Guess we will have to wait and see what else is included
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the exact same thing. The China Glaze ones are a standard 0.5oz, but the SH are 0.33oz for 7.99! At that price, they had better be something different and special.
DeleteThey've also posted pics of the two Tracy Reese shades on Facebook; looks like they'll be under the Lustre Shine name. (and duochromey, too!)
