I have the same type of skin as you as well as the same thin, long, easily tangled, oily scalp hair as you. Your blog has been a TREMENDOUS help to me in finding good products that work! :)

ReplyDeleteI went Sunday morning and bought 14 colors for myself and 7 for my 14yr old daugter. I was able to get some of the colors in your top 10 but not all! Will be hitting a different Walgreens today!

ReplyDeleteAlso on the Walgreens thing, make sure when you go to the site that you select the one that just says "Sinful Colors Professional Nail Enamel". For some reason some of the colors have their own slot so it looks like they only carry 14 shades on your initial search. However if you select the option above you will see all of the colors listed.
Even though I went to Walgreens before the sale (Got Rain Storm, Lavendar, Sugar Sugar, Nail Junkie, Timber Berry, and Ocean Side), I did go back yesterday to get a few more and picked up Slate, Black on Black, Last Chance, Savage, and two bottles of Midnight Blue, which I was happy to find out that they made more of since my old one (back in the cylinder bottle days) had its brush broken and dried to the bottle and it was my favorite too and found it again! I don't know if I might go back or to another one since I couldn't find Leap Flog anywhere. And also didn't know Black Radiance and Wet N Wild were made by the same person since I did get two new Wet N Wild polishes while I was there, the dark blue chrome, which I almost got once, and Disturbia. I will look into them! And to Heather, you're not the only Nail polish Addict here! I started becoming one again a few months back! :)

I had to dig up .54 cents from my purse for the purchase, but man, what a haul. Love when they do these sales and they have the new colors.
Rainstorm is gorgeous! It reminds me of an Orly shade, the name of which I can't quite recall. And I can't believe I fell in love with Leap Flop; I typically hate green nail polish, but the dustiness and gray tones in this one had me at "hello." I also got Outrages, which I had never seen before but really like this time around. Thanks again so so much, G! You have definitely broadened my horizons!
