Spotted: new Prestige Indulge Me Eye Palette

I was at Rite Aid a few days ago and stumbled across a new palette from Prestige that I can't wait to show you:

 Prestige Indulge Me Eye Palette
(retail: $12.99)

Now, I know that Prestige released a bunch of new face primers a few months ago (apologies if you sent me pics of those and I did not post them--that was when I had some family emergencies and I didn't get a chance to post new product pics for a few months). But I had no idea that Prestige had this new eyeshadow primer until I saw it in this kit:

It is just me, or does this palette look a little bit like a smaller version of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows?

Have you spotted this new palette in your area yet? I would LOVE to hear from anyone who's tried this primer. I'm seriously thinking about picking it up because I'm almost out my UD primer!

  1. I can't wait to see this pallet in my drugstores, for the price of it, it's worth to check it out and probably buy it :o) And I agree w/u, the box kinda look like U.D. pallets.

  2. I agree - I thought it looked a lot like an UD product, too! I must say, I'm interested in giving this a try!

  4. Keeping an eye out for this because I totally want this! First thing I thought when I saw it was Urban Decay!! I guess they're trying to make their packing look more like something from a department store. Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for posting this! :)

    1. The core shadows are hit or miss for me, but all of their LE shadows have been amazing, so I have high hopes for this one. :)

  7. I saw this at my local HEB (Central Texas) and it wasn't with the rest of the line, just in a little bin at the bottom of the makeup shelf. So keep an eye out for this in weird locations.

  8. I saw the palette about a month ago at a local drugstore. Someone had opened one and obviously swiped the shadows, so I only felt mildly guilty doing it too since it already couldn't be resold. They seemed like they were pretty bad quality, but I was still intrigued by the primer. I went over to the Prestige display and they had the primer in full-size! It's in a white and yellow tube but it's the same name so presumably the same product. And all Prestige was 50% off so I got it for around $3.50! I've only used it 3-4 times so far because I'm trying to finish up my Benefit Stay Don't Stray, but the few times I've used it I've really liked it. Definitely would repurchase. It goes on smooth, has just a *slight* color to it, enough to blur my visible purple veining, and my eyeshadow went on smooth and lasted as long as it does with my Benefit. So there ya have it...my spur-of-the-moment mini review! ;-)

  10. I wonder how well everything will apply. Regardless I may have to pick it up whenever I run into it.

  12. Yay! I hope it is good. I currently use ELF primer, but it is hard for me to get in my area.. only one Target (a small one) and they are always sold out.

    1. How about ordering at ELF online? They just had a special on shipping and its always free at $25 or more.

  13. I was thinking the same thing about it being like the Book of Shadows right before I scrolled down and saw that you mentioned it. Bummed I can't get it since I don't have any Rite Aids near me. :/

  14. Wow, I'm curious about this palette, but I haven't tried Prestige eyeshadows before. It does remind me of UD.

    Hm, the eyeshadows look shimmery.

Hope you'll have a review soon.

  15. Hi there! I am using the Prestige eye primer and it will be two weeks on Thursday of daily use. I have used and am used to Too Faced Shadow Insurance. But after 5 years I was getting tired of the price. Prior to Shadow Insurance I used UD. Anyway, the Prestige Primer works just as well and I am thrilled! The texture is a little thicker than the watery Shadow Insurance but comparable to UD's primer. It does not leave any noticeable color and dries quickly. I apply my makeup at 7am and when I take it off at 9pm it is still all there and in place. So, for me, this was a winner! Hope that helps.

As a note, I bought this Prestige primer at Ulta and it was in a full sized white and yellow tube. It was not part of the palette but I bet it's the same (?).

  16. All my drugstores seem to HATE Prestige. Whatever they have from the brand is usually limited to the liners :(

  17. Nice and thanks for sharing, I'll keep a lookout for it (it does look like UD a bit from what I recall)
:) Is there only the one shade collection so far?

  18. So far this palette is proving to have really smooth eyeshadows - much like most of Prestige's shadows. I haven't tried the primer yet. You do need a good primer with these particular shadows as they are almost too soft. Too Faced primer works excellent. The Eyeliner is a bit hard but blends easy with a smudge brush. I will have to try the primer today!

  19. Update: I used the primer in the palette today. It goes on easily and dries to a tacky finish. The shadow stuck fast to it, but blending was a pain in the butt. The white glitter shadow stayed in place. However, about halfway through the day I had some pretty bad creasing and trying to blend it out with my finger just wiped the shadow off or smeared it around. It's like the primer never dried and left a tacky goo under the shadow. I would buy the palette again for the great colors in the palette, but not for the primer. Hope this helps. I don't know if it is a new primer in their line or not. I do notice the shadows (formula, texture, etc) are different their regular ones.
