About a month ago I showed you pics of the Spoiled display that's been popping up at CVS (note: this display does not feature all of the shades in this range). Today I have official info with pics and names of all 72 shades in this collection and I'm excited to share it with you. Hopefully your CVS will have all 72 colors soon!
From Wet n Wild:
Nail polish lovers: what do you think of this assortment? Are you excited to see all 72 shades in person? Do you already own any? Scrangie has some nice swatches of two of these glitters here.
First of all, My Silicone Popped? Ugg, horrid, horrid name!
ReplyDeleteWith that said, I would try these if I could see them IRL! Shrimp On A Barbie (again with the horrid names!) looks like my kinda color. Wish we had CVS's around here!
Is Cougar Attack equivalent to Cougar Attack from On the Prowl?
ReplyDeleteLOL at Angie's comment!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs this line replacing any of the other 2 wnw NP lines? I hope the brushes on these are better than those horribly thick megalast (?) ones! The shape really looks like Sinful's bottles
Yeah I agree a lot of these names are ridic but I spot a few duochromes so I can look past the bad names! I think I definitely want Pet my Peacock!
ReplyDeleteAhhh thank you for this! I was just googling trying to find what all shades were in this collection. Pet My Peacock and Jewelry Heist look really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm immaturely laughing to myself at the "Pet my Peacock" name :D
ReplyDeleteThis is great info! Thanks, G!
:/ They couldn't think of better names? I guess it does go with the "Spoiled" theme, but geez...
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, I'm still definitely checking some out. Are Mermaids Real? looks interesting.
omg these names! hahaha
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see these at CVS. Although, I swear I've read someplace that some of the colors are re-releases just with different names. Either way, I want the glitters!
ReplyDeleteFor the price, these are worth trying - and I am sure there are some dupes in there!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great array of colors. I particularly love Distant Memory, Good Karma, Your Fly's Down, and Ants in My Pants. Some of these colors look like dupes of more expensive brands. Thanks for the post! x
ReplyDeleteI bought Loxy Lady last week. It's not bad. The color payoff was great and it lasted awhile. I used the Milani base and top coat with it. I'm considering buying more.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to check these out!!!
ReplyDeleteI have one of the glitters, and while I love the color, the brush itself....it's pretty bad. Uneven, puffy/round, but with an odd flat edge. I've also heard a few other people with similar experiences with the brushes. Hopefully, with it being a new line, the brushes will be fixed in the next batch.
ReplyDeleteI really like some of these names. I have 3 so far-Shuffle The Deck, Trust Fund Baby, and X-ray. I'll probably end up with all of the glitters. Battle of The Sexes and Pet My Peacock will definitely be mine if I find them!
ReplyDeleteI saw this the other day and didn't give it a closer look, lol. I should go back!
ReplyDeletexo~Crystal
I wonder if any of these are similar or the same shades from the Mermaid Cove collection -I missed out on that one!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking everywhere for these polishes, but every display I've seen has basically been torn to shreds! I did manage to grab Jail Bait, Did I Dye it Too Blonde? and Black Mamba.
ReplyDeleteJewelry Heist looks gorgeous, and Paying with Platinum looks like it could be a dupe of Grey's Anatomy based on the promo pic. Are Mermaids Real looks soooo pretty!
I already have Trust Fund Baby and Shuffle the Deck, but looks like I need some more. Again, what's with all these weird names lol
ReplyDeleteI think the names are hilarious on these. I would get something probably just for the names alone.
ReplyDeleteThey have a great variety!! My CVS definitely didn't have all of these. I did pick up Shuffle the Deck though. I have yet to try it :(.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with some of the names though? Questionable.
The ones i've seen in person look very similar to Sinful Colors. I passed on them because I didn't see anything new or interesting. Some of the ones listed here I have not seen in the stores. I hope someone gets a huge haul of them and does swatches.
ReplyDeleteThe names are absolutely hysterical! I hope Cougar Attack is the same that I hunted for all autumn and came up empty! I am going to Las Vegas in a few weeks and will check out the amazing CVS that is on the Strip to see these for sure. There is a CVS about 20 minutes from me but I only get there 1 or 2 times a year plus they have the worst beauty section ever! Cant wait to see these in person! WOO HOO
ReplyDeletei think i need Pet My Peacock and Jewelry Heist too. will probably have to get lots of others when i see them IRL. however, the CVS's in my area never seem to restock or have the LE displays : (
ReplyDeleteCVS exclusive? Waaa!!!!
ReplyDeletewow! I so agree with angie! whats with names. hahaha anyways, I love so many but no cvs near me. Sad!
ReplyDeleteOmg I'm dying reading these names. But, some of the glitters look pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteI did haul 3 of them when they first came out, I was the first one to touch our display! But there are definitely some shades I'd like to see in person that weren't on the display last I checked! Its hard to tell sheer from opaque from this ad though, which is what I'm most curious about when it comes to some of these shades!
ReplyDeleteSome of those names are ridiculous. But also... A white Correction Tape from Spoiled, when Wet n' Wild already has one named Correction Tape, along with a Wet n' Wild Correction Tape dupe in the Spoiled collection (Trust Fund Baby)? I am thoroughly confusing myself. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI do love some of these colors though, and even want some of them just because of the fun names. A ton are going on my wishlist purely because they are pretty and cheap.
I Got a Confection to Make, Shrimp on a Barbie, Let's Get Sushi, I Don't Drink Cheap Wine, Battle of the Sexes, and I'm Baroque. Fun and funky names!
Good gravy, these NAMES! WTF? I'm beginning to see why some brands prefer to just give their products numbers. Ugh. lol... I didn't even realize these were a WnW offshoot. Derr. I got Shuffle The Deck and Trust Fund Baby for xmas. They're SO COOL. Can't wait to see the others, though I may scratch the name labels off. "Use Protection"??? SERIOUSLY?
ReplyDeleteOoh, could "Ants in my Pants" be a dupe for that red glitter from the Halloween collection? I may have to check out CVS more often.
ReplyDeleteI have Shuffle the Deck. Now if I can just get my hands on the rest of the glitters. My CVS didn't have a full display.
ReplyDeleteI MUST own 'My Saturn Broke Down' because my Saturn is always breaking down! Too funny! Some of these colors are really awesome ;D
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if these polishes are "3-free"?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I think the names are frickin' hilarious!
ReplyDelete1st the polishes look pretty from the photos, 2nd WnW can't pull off the off-the-wall polish names like the higher-end brands do (they just sounds sleezy to me, no bueno)
ReplyDeleteI purchased Let's Get Sushi at CVS yesterday! Can't wait to try it! It's such a pretty coral color. They remind me of Sinful Colors at Walgreens with the packaging.
ReplyDeleteI dont understand why they'd have another polish called Correction Tape that is a different color. Then again, I don't understand why they called a multicolored glitter polish correction tape in the first place so maybe THIS is the one that makes sense. Either way I'll probably never see these in my superlame CVS or RiteAid.
ReplyDeleteThere's a display of these up at my local CVS, but not nearly this selection. Bummer. There's actually a few of the extended selection I would actually buy. I thought the ones at the local store were bland.
ReplyDeleteDonna: I agree with you that ethnic/racial jokes are NEVER funny. Never. But in all honesty, I didn't take that one to be racial--when I saw the shade (which resembles salmon), my reaction was "Oh, I get it, it looks like lox" and my mind went straight to rich people who could afford to eat cured salmon. This, to me, is in the same vein as the shade "Let's Get Sushi". But I will talk to Wet n Wild about this just to confirm their intention. Since the theme seems to be about spoiled, wealthy girls, I really just thought it was a reference to a more decadent food (I sure can't afford lox right now. lol). Thanks so much for your concern and insight.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right, G. But lox is a food associated with Jewish people, so they should have seen that one could be taken the wrong way and thought up something else for it. I hope they rename it no matter what their intentions were.
ReplyDeleteI eat lox and I am not Jewish. I don't understand your point on this? That being said the names are ridiculous but I guess that is the intention. I like many of the colors and will certainly seek them out.
ReplyDeleteso if the display only holds 36 then where are the other 36 going to be? i've check several cvs in 2 different states and it seems the same others are one the display. i want some of the colors not on the display...
ReplyDeleteI've checked two CVS stores in Winston-Salem, NC, but neither has the Spoiled collection yet. I even spoke to a district manager who happened to be at one CVS, and he said check back around Valentine's Day. DANG IT.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone see "Ants in My Pants" in person? If so, is it more like Essie's "Ruby Slippers" or like WnW's "Behind Closed Doors" from the Halloween 2011 collection? None of my stupid local stores that were supposed to have the "On the Prowl" collection had then, and I even checked the stores listed on the locator map on this site! I have a serious case of polish envy against you ladies who have easier access to these LE polishes! ;)
I think the names are funny-trashy. I mean, the brand's name is wet n wild...so I expect a little bit of gratuitous raunch. Anyway, several of the colors are very pretty, like that bright fuschia up there! And it looks like there are some duochromes. I haven't had good experiences with wet n wild polish but I'm willing to try these.
ReplyDeletelove love love show me the money would trade a shade for this shade
