I've got some fun new skincare and haircare products to show you today, so let's get started with a few sightings from long-time contributor Jess:

Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer
I'm a sucker for anything that has a spiral, so I'm sure I'll be trying this new face primer from Almay. Jess also spotted the newest collection from TRESemme at her local Rite Aid:

TRESemme Split Remedy Collection
(retail: $5.99 each at Rite Aid)
This collection includes shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner.
Jess also spotted another new collection from Organix (click here if you missed the new Macadamia collection):

Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo
I'm assuming this collection also contains conditioner, as well as some treatments and/or styling products.
Next up, I've got some exciting news from my dear friend Paula of Older Girl Beauty. Do you remember back in September when I posted about the new brand Güd? If you missed this post, then you should know that Güd is from the makers of Burt's Bees. Here is an excerpt from the article I linked to in Septmenber:
(From Happi.com)
Burt's Bees' execs describe the brand as "eco-fun," and one that doesn't take itself too serious. Packages are white, with colorful, playful graphics depicting a formula’s theme flavors and ingredients. For example, the Pearanormal Activity line has illustrations of pears. Featured underneath the Güd brand is the tag “from Burt’s Bees.”
Güd will be available in four variants: Floral Cherrynova, Orange Petalooza, Pearanormal Activity and Vanilla Flame. Body mist prices will range from $4.99 to $5.99; hair care, washes and lotions for $6.99; and body butters for $11.99. Fragrances were developed with Roger Schmidt and Givaudan.
Before hitting shelves, consumers will be able to purchase Güd online at
www.gudproducts.com in December. Burt’s Bees is launching Güd to 20,000 to 25,000 doors next year, including Target, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Ulta and Walgreens.
Paula spotted Güd at her local Walgreens recently and was kind enough to share:

And last but not least, we have a sighting from Jen, owner of Just Foolin Blog Designs, who is actually responsible for the design of this very blog (including my little piggy logo!). Jen purchased the NEW Suave dry shampoo recently and was nice enough to share some pics:

Right: the original Suave Dry Shampoo (which I reviewed here)
Jen said that the new Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo doesn't have the same grapefruit scent as the original dry shampoo; she said it smells more like a traditional hairspray. She found this at her local Walgreens for $3.49. I don't think I've ever seen a dry shampoo that contains keratin before, so I'm very exciting to try this one!

Thanks SO much, Jess, Paula and Jen, for the wonderful pictures and scoop!
Have you spotted or tried any of these new products yet? I'd love to hear from you!
"I'm a sucker for anything that has a spiral". I don't know why but that made me laugh lol. I can't wait to try that Almay primer! I loved the Stila one that look like this but I would love to find a cheaper dupe for it.
ReplyDeleteI like Aussie's new deep conditioner. But you probably already know about it :0)
ReplyDeleteI love Almay products, they are so gentle even on the most sensitive skins (like mine) so I am dying to try that smart shader correct primer! Thanks for showing this!
ReplyDeleteThat awapuhi wild ginger products are interesting. I have the Paul Mitchell Shampoo and COnditioner in the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line but they are very expensive. It would be nice to find a similar product for cheaper caue they are considered a luxury line from Paul Mitchell :-)
ReplyDeleteI bought the Gud orange body wash yesterday at Walgreens - it smells fantastic. Also saw the vanilla line - which smelled very good too. I'm excited to try the body wash and additional products, Burt's Bees makes some great things, so my expectations are high!
ReplyDeleteGud is looking good. Thanks for the "heads up!"
ReplyDeleteSuave is actually doing a whole Keratin line, I saw it yesterday at Walgreens. Shampoo, conditioner and also a keratin treatment-at-home thing. I love keratin so I'm curious to see if they will work as good as the ones I've gotten from Sally's.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to try that Organix Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo...looks like some serious haircare.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the primer. I really need a skin correcting/redness reducing primer for my sensitive and dry skin, does anyone have any suggestions for me?
ReplyDeleteI spotted the Gud line in the most unlikeliest of Walgreens. I was close to purchasing but cripes I have way too many hair products I need to use up or unload to unsuspecting family members.
ReplyDeleteI saw the Güd products at Target today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up about a new dry shampoo. I'm always in the market to try new ones. I'm not a fan of the grapefruit smell of the regular Suave one. Perhaps I'll like the Keratin one. :)
I saw the Almay in Walgreens the other day. There was also a foundation that went with it.
