Before I get everyone's hopes up, I want to tell you that I do NOT know if this sale applies to every region of the US. In fact, I didn't see it listed on IHeartWags, and I only noticed it in my own local circular that I got in today's newspaper.
The ad is featured in one of those little half-page wrap-around thingies that sometimes wrap around the outside of the actual circular. Here's a pic of the ad from my circular:
So all I can say is, check your local circular and see if you can find the ad.
That said, I wanted to give you a little bit more info about the new Sinful Colors shades. I thought it would be handy to list them all in this post, and provide links to fellow bloggers' swatches for reference:

ReplyDeleteI live in the Midwest, and when I was at Meijer recently, I saw a few other Sinful Colors shades that I didn't see at Wags.
ReplyDeleteNicole - light yellow creme. I felt that it was very similar to Unicorn, but it also had a slight touch of green. Maybe like OPI Fiercely Fiona?
Stella - Taupe polish with a lot of silver shimmer. I think that it's similar to the new Essie Mochaccino polish.
Verbena - Lavender creme polish. Not pale enough to be considered a pastel, similar to OPI A Grape Fit or Done Out in Deco.
Ciao Bella - Darker, slightly shimmery royal blue polish with silver microglitter. It's lighter than something like Essie Starry Starry Night. It doesn't seem like an entirely original polish color, but I can't think of anything to compare it to.
Has anyone else seen these, or others?
Has anyone ever found any of the Ocean colors besides Green Ocean?
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the 2/$3 price in my ad but I did get a walgreens store coupon for $1 off sinful colors polishes in one of my coupon inserts in the sunday paper. so polishes are .99 after the coupon!

lily: Wow! I did not have that coupon in my circular this week. Lucky you!! I know a while back there was talk of SC coupons but they were only in certain regions. Then a few weeks later, the coupon appeared nationally, but I guess they went back to making it regional again. :(
I live in Missouri, and we don't have the 2 for $3 deal, but we do have a coupon for $1 off Sinful Colors. Well, I was needing to pick up a new bottle of Revlon Colorstay, and I had planned to use the $3 Register Rewards + the $1 off coupon to get 2 bottles of Sinful Colors. Well, when she scanned the coupon, it actually took $2 off! So my total came to $2.12 for the 2 bottles, and I grabbed some candy at the checkout to equal the $3 in RR that I had, but I realized (of course AFTER I left) that I should have gotten another bottle of SC and I could have gotten 3 bottles for $1!

ReplyDeleteI just got back from my Walgreens and bought 8 SC Polishes. I didn't have a coupon but the cashier totally scanned a coupon for me and it took a $1 off each bottle. I only had to pay about $8
ReplyDeleteDenise, I can sometimes find other Ocean colors on CherryCulture.com. But be aware that the time I purchased "orange ocean", I received a different polish. When I wrote to them about it, I was told that "the company sometimes changes the colors". The other Ocean colors arrived just fine, though. Right now they still have Deep Red Ocean in stock.
ReplyDeleteI had dark ocean blue glitter but my son broke the bottle. It is gorgeous color. At target this weekend I saw a color that was new to me--it was called aquamarine. it is a creme nail polish. The color reminded me of fairy teal. Not exactly the same color but same color group.(a little darker) Sinful colors website has pink ocean, red ocean, deep red ocean and deep blue ocean. I just ordered them.
ReplyDeleteI live in Northern California. I walked into Walgreens yesterday to check for the Sinful Colors sale. There was no noticeable advertisement, but one of the store employees kindly informed me that they were, in fact, 2/$3.
ReplyDeleteI snatched up two bottles. (I'm new to Sinful Colors!). I picked up Savage, without realizing it was a matte. I'm a little disappointed in that, although it looks a lot greener on my nails than it does on any of the swatches I've seen online.
