Video Review: New Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner

Milani Infinite Eyeliner is on the left.

I updated the software on my little ol' Blackberry this weekend and since I now have video capabilities, I thought I'd do a video review of the new Milani Infinite Liquid Liners that everyone seems to be going crazy for these days.

I love the colors (they come in blue, purple, green, bronze and black--I purchased "Forever" which is the shimmery bronze), the staying power and the price ($5.99) but I'm not wild about the application. Here's a video explaining exactly why:

So there you have it! Have you tried these new Milani liners? Thoughts?

  1. I bought the new felt tip liner in charcoal. It went on thicker than I would like, but I imagine if I keep using it, it will get better. I like the Physicians Formula felt tip liners a lot, so I wanted a comparison. So far, I'm not going to switch

  2. Lovely to hear your review instead of just reading it :-)

  3. You have a great voice! I really want that eyeliner still, despite the crappy brush. I always use a separate brush anyway =)

Also, in NYC the Carlo di Roma line is now available in Duane Reades! We're not lucky enough to have Dollar Trees here =(

  4. Hi Dee! Thanks for the info on the new Eye Tech liner. I was hoping that this one would be a bit thinner than the Infinite liner but I guess not. :(

Hey Halifax! Thank you so much!! I really wanted to make my first and only video review a useful one. :)

Hi Joey! You are too kind! :) And great idea to use a separate brush for your liners--I never think to do that. lol. I would love to know what you think if you get one of these and use it with your own brush, because I imagine it would probably make a world of difference.

And thanks for the info about Carlo di Roma! I'm so curious: what are the retail prices on things like the eyeshadows and lipsticks?

  5. I'll probably buy something from the Carlo di Roma line in a couple of days, so I'll let you know how the pricing is =) I'm hoping it's all a dollar! And I'll pick up one of the Milani liners too, and let you know about that!

  8. Hey karrieann! Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, my liner was definitely runny, not gooey. I agree though--the colors are gorgeous--but I had a heck of a time removing this liner. Even with makeup remover! Can you tell me what you use to remove it and if it works? Thanks!! :)

  9. I bought the purple, blue & black. Mine are gooey but I don't mind. They aren't hard for me to work with. The brush doesn't bother me, either, although I prefer to use my MAC 209 brush.

The price is excellent. These things stay put. They don't move, smudge or run once they dry, even when my eyes water.

I use olive oil to remove my eye makeup. It works much better than any of the makeup removers I've tried.

  10. Hey Ingrid! I agree--these liners do NOT budge. But I really had a heck of a time removing them, and I even tried olive oil, Vaseline, and baby oil. It took dozens of swipes, even with those products, to fully remove this liner. :(
