What is your favorite brand of drugstore lipstick?
When you walk into your local drugstore, what is your go-to brand for lipstick? L'Oreal? CoverGirl? Maybelline? Or maybe it's NYC, Wet n Wild or Prestige? Come on, ladies, tell me what brand of drugstore lipstick never lets you down. I'd love to know.

ReplyDeleteHey have you tried the glosses from this collection yet? I am loving the one I own (and I'm not even a gloss girl).
What's better, is every time I went into Walgreens to pick some out, the lady working behind the counter kept giving me $1 off coupons, so I got them all a dollar off.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the glosses, but that's because I own a ton of glosses and not a lot of lipstick.
Where the heck is this Walgreens? I'll fly there to get that kind of service! lol! :)

ReplyDeleteI go in there a lot since it's right by my house and the same lady works there and she likes me because I wear a lot of color (if you've ever peeked at my blog you'll know what I mean).
I'll look at the glosses and see if any catch my attention.
Most of my glosses are Nyx and MAC. Though if you're looking for a vegan and recessionista friendly version, check out Fyrinnae's lip lustres! Lollipop-pop (a light pink with blue reflect) and Glitter Kittiez (a magenta pink) are my two favorites! Type A (a red) and Acidic Cherry (burgundy) are nice too! And of course I love Ryunome (which is a brilliant teal/turquoise).
I have always picked maybelline or loreal. but after discovering beauty blog I am open to suggestions. I like the formulation of NYX. While I am in USA, I am waiting for some good deals in the drugstore to check all the brands :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance to try out the new Maybelline lippies (I need to get on that!!). But so far Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks are some of my favorite drugstore lipsticks. Rimmel's Lasting Finish have some nice colors as well (Airy Fairy, Birthday Suit and Kasbah).
ReplyDeleteI love the NYC lipsticks =) I own 8 or 9 of them, I think! I love the metallic finish and pigment power of these.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Revlon mattes, and L'Oreal Colour Riche, and I recently bought Born With It and Barely There from the new Maybellines and I loooove them!
ReplyDeleteRevlon lippies are excellent, as are NYX round lippies. Actually, I am really about the NYX round lippies right now.
