Spotted at Dollar Tree: Hard Candy Face Primers
I honestly don't recall ever posting about Hard Candy sightings at Dollar Tree before. As far as I can tell, this is a new occurance so I of course want to make sure you know about it! Check this out:
Many thanks to longtime reader @mzericalynn5 on Instagram for letting me know that @shedaisy0214 posted this pic today of the Hard Candy primers she just spottted at her local Dollar Tree. These are full-size tubes (1.03 oz.) which retail for $8 each at Walmart (Dollar Tree price is, of course, $1 each). That's a really nice deal if you like these!
I don't know if other HC primers are currently surfacing at DT right now. The three formulas above, Color Correcting, Perfecting, and Illuminating were the ones that were spotted, but HC currently has seven primers in their lineup, so there could be other formulas landing at DT right now as well.
Thanks again, @mzericalynn5, for the great tip!

San Diego Readers: Second Daiso Location Coming Soon
I saw something last night that almost made me crash the car, so naturally I have to share:

Eco Mart in Kearny Mesa closed a while back (so sad--I hoped they would be able to make it work), but when I was driving by last night, I saw signs on the building that said, "Daiso Coming Soon." Exciting, right? The photo above is old (taken from the Yelp Eco Mart page) but if you drive by now, you'll see the new banner.
There's already a Diaso in Mira Mesa, so this will be their second location here in San Diego. I cannot express to you how excited I am that Diaso will now be so close to Marukai, Mitsuwa, Nijiya and Zion (which has a Face Shop in the food court). It will be so extremely easy for us San Diegans to get our Asian beauty fix, all in the Convoy District.
For those new to Daiso, this is a Japanese dollar store chain (everything's $1.50, actually) with multiple locations throughout the US. They just opened their first store in Texas, and hopefully those of you who don't have a Diaso yet will get one soon, since they seem to be expanding at a pretty rapid pace. Daiso is a great place for inexpensive beauty products, snacks, kitchenware, crafting supplies, planner supplies, gardening supplies, and so much more. It's where I got those silicone "brush cleaners" I reviewed a while back, and I honestly can't count how many gadgets, trinkets, etc. I have from Diaso in my home. It's a dollar store shoppers dream, pretty much.
Anyway, I just wanted to pass along the good news to my fellow San Diegans!

Attention Texans: You're Getting a Daiso!
If you're in Texas and you haven't heard the news, hold on to your wallets!

image source: Daiso US Instagram page
Grand opening of the first Daiso in Texas is August 1st
Daiso, or otherwise known as my home away from home, is opening their first location in Texas on August 1st! It is located at 2540 Old Denton RD, #100, Carrollton, Texas. If you don't live close to this location, please note that Daiso stated on their Instagram that this is their FIRST Texas location, which I'm guessing means there will eventually be additional locations in your great state.
If you're new to Daiso or haven't seem my previous posts about this little wonderland of affordable products, Daiso is a Japanese retailer that sells primarily Japanese goods (although they have the most excellent selection of Kleancolor cosmetics that I've ever seen). Everything in the store is $1.50 unless otherwise noted. They sell Japanese cosmetics, housewares, snacks, crafting supplies, kitchen gadgets, organizational items, gardening supplies and much more. Basically, I like to call Daiso "the home of everything I never knew I needed...but totally need." Daiso is the place where I found that great DIY silicone brush cleaner I reviewed HERE, by the way.
So yeah, CONGRATS, Texans! And seriously, hold on to your wallets because a few minutes in this store and the next thing you know, you'll have $50 worth of irresistible goodies in your basket. Oh, and Daiso mentioned that they'll be doing giveaways on opening day, so definitely try to stop by on August 1 if you can (and arrive early because I'm sure it will be crazy).
Thanks to reader @rashi on Instagram for sharing this news with us!

Review: White Rain Boutique Collection Skincare from Dollar Tree
When it comes to bath & body products at Dollar Tree, I feel like they can end up in one of two categories: "pleasant surprise" or "epic fail." So when I finally found the new-ish skincare products from White Rain at my local Dollar Tree a month or two ago, I just had to give them a shot. I mean, for a dollar each, why not roll the dice, right?

Review: New L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polishes from Dollar Tree (Matte Glitters and Milky Glitters)
As far as I can tell, the new crop of L.A. Colors Color Craze shades first started to surface at Dollar Tree around January or February. I only recently have been able to find them at my local Dollar Trees, so I apologize if some of you don't consider these "new" but they're definitely new to me!
There were lots of new-to-me shades at my Dollar Tree a few weeks ago, but three matte glitters and one milky glitter came home with me. It's been quite a while since I reviewed any Color Craze nail polishes, so let's take a look at these babies!
