The Lipstick League Question of the Week
If you had to make a beauty resolution for the new year, what would it be? Is there anything you’ve been meaning to do (or not do) in 2017?
G's answer: I am not one to make resolutions, but if I were to make a beauty resolution for this year, I would resolve to be more consistent with a skincare regimen. And of course the usual "use what I have before I buy more stuff" promise that I make to myself a million times a year.

I don't make resolutions either. I feel like the New Year is a blank slate and you get to "start over" just trying to live the best life you can. My beauty routine is pretty much set so there would be no room for improvement unless I vow to not buy as much this year but I would never say that because I know it would never happen so what's the point, right?
ReplyDeleteMy resolution is to use what I have.
ReplyDeleteI don't really go wild with resolutions. One goal is to buy less, or to be less impulsive, and to use up a lot of what I have. I have in the past bought a lot of whatever is new for the thrill of it and then regret I paid full price or whatever, so now I want to wait on these things and see if I can nab them in a sale or wait for more reviews to come out so I can make a better decision. I honestly have so many lipsticks and nail polishes that I forget what I have.
ReplyDeleteFor beauty, I'm just trying to stick to a budget. It's not a particularly strict budget (as it will allow me to re-up both my Platinum and Rouge status by the end of the year) but it is more restrained than my purchasing last year, so it is a step in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteI don't bother with resolutions. I am hoping to try some of the new Wet and Wild products that are popping up. Other than that I don't really have any lemmings so that's good.
