There were some mixed feelings about this new L'Oreal palette when I originally posted about it back in November (click here for a closer look) but if you were excited to get it, I want to let you know that it's now available on the Ulta site HERE for $19 (just like the other L'Oreal La Palettes). And of course you can use the $3.50 off $10 coupon HERE to bring it down to $15.50.
I'm still dying to see this one in person because, from the product images online, it appears that many of these colors look quite similar to one another. We all know how notoriously incorrect product images can be, so perhaps there's a more distinguishable difference between the shades in person? A girl can hope!

I'm curious to see this palette in person as well. Hoping to see more of a color selection then the photo pictured. It looks pretty though.
ReplyDeleteI saw it in person the other day, can't remember where. Could have been Ulta or Target. I had a 3.00 coupon too, but I passed. Too many "blues" for me.
ReplyDeleteI accidentally bought the L'Oreal La Palette Nude 2 the other day (for some reason I thought I was buying the Covergirl one lol) and I'm absolutely in LOVE with it...hoping these colors turn out to be not super similar bc I'd love to buy it if it's the same quality as my other one. I'll have to check out the first palette too!
ReplyDeleteThe CG ones look really nice, gotta admit, just saw them at Rite Aid. I need more 'nude' palettes like a hole in the head but I STILL eye them every time I go there, lol!
DeleteI never got the L'Oreal ones although I've read nothing but good about them. I like that they don't seem as shimmery as most in the 'genre', for lack of a better term. Speaking of, I am not sure if I saw at least one, maybe two, e/s palettes by Jesse's Girl today, but I don't exactly know how new they are. They were in a display I hadn't seen before with the 'New release' stuff.
I bought the CG Golden and Nudes and not impressed. They are very powdery and have a lot of fall-out. I like the Loreal ones a lot better.
Deleteit looks pretty but i think i pass on it, unless its 40% off and i have a magic coupon lol :) but it is nice tho

ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for everything Loreal, so I'll definitely get it. But I'm going to need the trifecta of a sale price, coupon, and a few CVS Extra Bucks for me to buy it. Also, I'm kinda' bummed that Ulta seemed to get a major influx of new products AFTER the 20% off sale.
ReplyDeleteRarely do I pass on a L'Oreal palette, but Blues don't interest me at all. I know L'Oreal owns Maybelline, and sometimes I feel they put the better stuff there first. (Not always, but DEFINITELY sometimes!) In this case, I am sure I like the "Rock Nudes" palette better! But I'm still waiting for the gel-formula monos from L'Oreal that everyone has been ranting and raving about. I managed to get my hands on two of those, and they are arriving today!!! YAY!!!

DeleteI ordered them from Drugstore.com, Randi!!! But I saw them on display at my local Walgreens yesterday!!! I really didn't see that much of a difference in formula at first try, but perhaps I need to spend some more time experimenting with them. Good Luck!!!
