Sally Hansen Airbrush Sun Gradual Tanning Lotion

As far as I can tell, Sally Hansen released their new Airbrush Sun Gradual Tanning Lotion back in May (I think?). I'm guessing it was right around the time that they launched their new Airbrush Face Makeup (which I know a lot of your are loving right now). So why am I showing you this Airbrush Sun dipslay now, in October?

Well believe it or not, the other day when I was at Walgreens was the first time that I actually saw this line in person. So just in case some of YOU haven't seen these products in person yet, I figured what the heck...I might as well share a few pics!

There are two shades in this line: Light to Medium (above) and Medium to Tan (below). These retail for $14.99 each at Walgreens ($12.99 at Ulta), 5.9 oz. per tube. You can see more info about this line HERE (including a demo video).

A closer look at the tube:

I'm not a self-tanner person (or a sun-tanner person, for that matter), but you probably knew that already, due to the lack of tanning product reviews on this blog. But every once in a while, I do like to slap some self-tanner on my legs and arms (for the right outfit and occassion). So I'd love to hear if any of you have tried this one, and what you think.

While we're at it, what are your favorite drugstore self-tanning products? Do you like the Jergens one? The Suave one? I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Not a drugstore product, but Tantowel all the way! So easy peezy even I can do it! (I'm ghostly white and have ADD like no other, so the streaks with other products are real!!)

  2. I really like the Jergens one. It really does give a gradual tan.

  3. I love banana boat summer color in deep. Cheap, good color, and doesn't streak. Smell is ok. i am a self tanner and this is my holy grail.

  4. I've tried a couple, and I don't know if they react with my body chemistry or what, but I can't stand the smell. I even bought a brand new bottle of Jergens when they came out with the claim that it didn't stink anymore (even though I had 3/4 bottle of the old formula) and guess what? Smells exactly the same to me. I'll just stay pasty.

  5. Kara- I think the best cure for the stink is caress body wash. Caress® Fine Fragrance Love Forever™ Body Wash. It is like scratch and sniff body wash. When you touch your skin you can smell it. Come November I will pasty with you;)
