Hi G, I know it's still in progress but I just wanted to let you know that every time I click on something in your blog I get a full-page splash ad for Fright Fest and I actually find the ad quite disturbing, especially the first time when I wasn't expecting it. I totally understand and support why you have ads, but please consider limiting the deliberately-frightening content to side-of-the-page ads and/or not having it pop up over and over again.

Elizabeth, thank you so much for your comment. Please know that I wasn't even aware of this ad until some readers who commented on my Sephora post last night brought it to my attention. I'm working as quickly as I can to have the ad removed (I would do it myself immediately, but I belong to a network so I have to request the removal). Thank you so much for your patience...it's unfortunate that this is happening on the same day as my blog redesign (I can only do so many things at once and I'm trying to get it all done as quickly as possible). My apologies, and thanks so much for your patience!

DeleteI appreciate and enjoy looking at this site for the latest items. Is there a way to make the site faster? It takes 5 minutes to load the front page on my computer. That and it loads the pages weird. Like if you go back more then four pages, the site will direct you to the front page. Thank you for all that you do!

Delete(I know it isn't ready yet but) I like what I'm seeing so far. It looks like a really trendy fashion blog almost. Quite professional. The old look was cute, but this is like the site has grown up.

I've tried on PC desktop, laptop, and two different android phones all with Chrome, and the load time has been much quicker than my old design. So I'd love to know which browsers/devices are experiencing a lag. Thank you!!

DeleteHey G, just wanted you to know that when I go on the blog on the mobile version via iPhone 5(safari browser) the page automatically redirects to a bunch of ads eventually leading to the app store opening up to the NY times. This only started happening last night, aside from that I'm loving the new design!
