Many thanks to reader Jazzy (@beautyfoolgrl on Instagram) for this one. Jazzy spotted this new Rimmel Rita Ora display at her local Harmon this week and was nice enough to share some pics with us. Take a peek...

As you can see, there are seven polishes in this display. The postage stamp design on the lids looks more like Andy Warhol's Debbie Harry to me than Rita Ora (am I alone here?). Jazzy said there were no shade names listed on the bottles, so I did some research and found that there are SIX (not seven as you see above) Rita Ora polishes now on the Rimmel US site. However, none of them are the shades you see here in this display.
To add to the confusion, the creme shades you see in this display above ARE listed on the Rimmel UK site (along with the other shades that are listed on the US site but absent from this display). So IF the shade names are the same here in the US as they are in the UK, the shades in this display are as follows (from left to right):
- Raw as Night (warm red; not listed on either the UK or US sites--I found the name from the blog I link to below)
- Oragasm (orange)
- Let's Get Nude (light beige)
- Rita Rouge (vampy brownish-red)
- Pop Art! Top Coat (not listed on either the US or UK sites)
- Blindfold Me Blue (blue)
- Pillow Talk (light blue)
- If you'd like to see swatches of all of the creme shades listed on both the Rimmel US and UK sites (plus Raw as Night) CLICK HERE.
- If you'd like to see swatches of the Rita Ora Pop Art! Top Coat, CLICK HERE. In the photo above, this looks like a holo top coat, but it's actually a multi-colored matte glitter "confetti" top coat.

Rimmel Rita Ora Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balms
There are also five Colour Rush Colour Balms in this collection. Jazzy didn't see any shade names on these either. But IF these are the same five shades that are in the UK Rita Ora collection, then you can see swatches over on EssieButton HERE (she doesn't list shade names either, but she does mention that these have a vanilla scent/flavor as opposed to the mint scent/flavor in the regular line).
As for if these is a limited edition or permanent collection, I have no idea. I'm so confused at this point, I don't really know what else to say about this one other than...it's pretty! I really love the look of those Colour Balms, but I'm wondering how close they are in color to the ones in the permanent range. Thoughts?
Thanks so much, Jazzy, for the great sighting and pics!
the names of those polishes remind me of a few years ago when I was doing nails. I was polishing a little 4 year old girls nails light pink and she asked me what the name was... I said "bubble gum". The real name was "erotic fantasy!" Lol her mother and I had a good laugh over that
ReplyDeleteOh fab

Maybe the color rush shades are new in the UK.. but I can see I Want Candy and Make Me Blush, both are permanent here. I'm pretty sure two of the others are All You Need is Pink, and Viva Violet.. also both permanent.
ReplyDeleteIt's so weird bc Kmart has the permanent rimmel lip crayons and I can't believe I don't see they anywhere else!! I bought some at Kmart in the beg of the summer and still nothing anywhere else. So I wonder if these are limited edition new colors?
ReplyDeleteI have 4 of the regular Colour Rush Intense Colour Balms and they smell like vanillay. And the names are under where it says Lasting Finish Colour Rush Long Lasting Intense Colour Balm then under it in french? it says the name of the shade for if you spot them!
ReplyDeleteOops guess my comment didn't send! Anyway, saw this display at my Knart today! Unfortunately the lip crayons were the Perm shades.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for these! Of course I will need the blue nail polishes!!! Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteHate these names!!
ReplyDeleteJinx! Debbie Harry was my first thought!
