Many thanks to two lovely readers for the following sightings. First up, reader @l0ve_like_wh0a spotted the new Brow Stylist display at her local Bed Bath & Beyond this week and was nice enough to share a pic:

This display is broken up into three different categories: Soft Brow, Bold Brow and Full Brow. First, the Soft Brow section:

Brow Stylist Designer
Brow Stylist Designer
(first shade not pictured) 310 Brunette, 315 Dark Brunette
There are three shades in the Brow Stylist Designer range (you can see the lightest shade in the very first pic in this post if you look to the far left). After searching for this product online I could not find a thing about it, so I believe it's brand new. This product contains a brow pencil on one end and a spoolie on the other.
Next, the Bold Brow section:

L'Oreal Brow Stylist Sculptor
L'Oreal Brow Stylist Sculptor
355 Blonde, 360 Brunette, 365 Dark Brunette
Brow Stylist Sculptor actually came out this past June (you can see my pics HERE if you want a closer look). If you haven't seen these locally yet, there's a traditional brow pencil on one end and a clear brow wax on the other.
And finally, the Full Brow section:

There are two shades plus a translucent formula in this collection.
Brow Stylist Plumper has been available in Europe and Australia (and perhaps other countries) for a little while, so here are the product details from the L'Oreal Australia website:
Brow Stylist Plumper has been available in Europe and Australia (and perhaps other countries) for a little while, so here are the product details from the L'Oreal Australia website:
- Add instant character to your brows with our innovative brush-on fibre gel mascara.
- Quickly build volume for thick, lush arches, thanks to a perfectly shaped brush and precision tip for shaping.
- Natural looking and matte finish.
- Available in three shades.
- Using short strokes, comb through the brows, starting at the inner edges and moving outwards.
- Apply multiple coats to reach your desired volume effect.
So why am I saying that Brow Stylist Plumper might be a dupe for Benefit Gimme Brow? Well after doing some research, I found THIS post written by an Australian beauty blogger. In her post, you can see that of all the various brow products she compares, L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper seems to be the most similar to Gimme Brow when it comes to wand, tint, and fibers. Exciting considering that Gimme Brow retails for $22, right?
Have you spotted this new Brow Stylist display in your area yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks again, Fatima and @l0ve_like_wh0a, for the great sightings and pics!

I have very thin brows and I would love to try this. Thanks for all of the amazing research! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping this is similar to Gimme Brow, I get my brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar and love when they use it on me but I can't justify the price!
ReplyDeleteI am always on the lookout for something to help my sparse blonde brows so I imagine I will be trying this!
ReplyDeleteHow much are each of the products? They seem interesting!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if the shades run cool, neutral or warm. So many brow products, Gimme Brow included, run on the warm side. I've got sparse, ashy brown brows and warm shades just don't do me any favors. Cap colors are clueless!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited if this turns out to be a dupe! Prestige has a similar product but the brush is messy to use.
ReplyDeleteI love the prestige product. I agree with you regarding the brush. I find it to be unnecessarily long.
DeleteI've been using the Hard Candy brow fiber/tint for the past 2mos and love it..it is only now starting to dry up a bit and I'll probably have to pick up another soon. I have used and loved the Benefit one on my mom, but used Birchbox pts on it and would rather not spend so much, so I will be sticking w the Hard Candy. HC also comes w a bonus highlighter stick on the other end, but the brush and formula are very much the same as the Benefit.
DeleteI am really exited to try this out!
ReplyDeletePlease update me on if these have been spotted elsewhere like Ulta, WalMart, drugstores, etc.
ReplyDeleteVery disappointed with this. The formula is very wet and just sits on top of brows and looks kinda odd. The blonde color is a very odd, it has much more warm tones than cool. As for the fibers there is only a few. Do not like at all.
ReplyDeleteThat is a shame! I thought this might finally be a great drugstore alternative! I guess I won't be leaving Anastasia anytime soon after all...
