Reader Kassidy spotted JAPANESE Baby Lips at her local Bealls Outlet for just $2.99 each. In the US, you basically have to purchase these on ebay or online retailers like Sasa where they're $4 each. Here are some pics from Kassidy:

Again, if you leave near a Bealls Outlet (click here for a store locator) you might want to stop in and see if you can find these!
Thanks so much, Kassidy, for the great tip and pics! I really appreciate it!
I got one so far didn't realize what they were. I fail at being a lip balm collector apparently!
ReplyDeleteWhat makes these so special and different from the regular baby lips?
DeleteI saw these there a few weeks ago. I didn't get them since baby lips dries my lips out.
ReplyDeleteHi, actually these baby lips is an Asian version of baby lips, I believed all Asian countries carried them in their drugstores~~ only the writing is difference among countries..hope this one helps =)
ReplyDeleteI'm Japanese and notice some mistranslations here! Not sure if Maybelline did it on purpose or they made some mistakes??
ReplyDeleteSweet Cherry is translated to Soothing Cherry in English, and Mixed Berry is translated to Antioxidant Berry. It's funny because the names are not even using "real" Japanese words, they literally just spelled out Sweet Cherry and Mixed Berry using the Japanese alphabet. So I dont know why they changed one english word to another english word XD
Lol

ReplyDeleteBurke's Outlet in Texas and other states is the exact same chain, they just operate under a different name due to a completely different department store called Bealls already existing there.
