New for 2014: Soho Peach and Chelsea Pink
If you go to the NYC website, you'll see that these two shades have been added to the bottom of the Liquid Lipshine listing and the numbers associated with each shade are the two highest numbers in the range. So they definitely appear to be new.
Christine said she googled both shades and only found one review--I saw the same review here and it's very recent (from April 20th, 2014). I'm not sure if these new shades are now available in most stores but if you're interested, keep checking the permanent displays in your area. Hopefully you'll see them soon.

Christine said that both shades look vibrant in the tube but are more sheer when applied to the lips. She asked if Soho Peach may be similar to the limited edition shade Peach Melba (from the Summer 2012 Summer in the City! Collection) and I don't think I ever purchased Peach Melba so I don't know how close they are. If you own Peach Melba, I'd love to know if you think Soho Peach is similar (or identical?).
Have you spotted these new shades in your area yet? Thoughts?
Thanks again, Christine, for the great info and pic!
I want both of these so I will be checking all the stores that sell NYC. Thanks as always for the info!
ReplyDeleteWent to Kmart today to look for these. There is a third shade that was marked as "NEW" on this display called Bowery Blush. I ended up getting that and Soho Peach. They were sold out of Chelsea Pink...
DeleteI wanted Soho Peach, but not if it's sheer! Darn! =(
ReplyDeleteThey are both great as toppers to corally/pink lipsticks. I have a lot of cream finish lipsticks that every once in a while i want a little extra umph and these are great for that. On their own they are sheer but still pretty.
ReplyDeleteI have both and they are great as toppers over corally/pink lippies. They add that extra umph over cream lipsticks. On their own they give a pretty sheer wash of color with lots of shimmer, still pretty but i definitely prefer them over lipsticks.
ReplyDeleteWell, since I do have the entire line of NYC Lipshine glosses, I would like to get these. I do have really pigmented lips, but I would wear them anyway even if they are sheer. I love the formula!
ReplyDeleteI haven't noticed these, but I've seen new duets at Meijer stores. Two new ones: One that's half red and half gold (I believe) and one that's half hot pink and half purple.
ReplyDeletePerfect shades for summer!
ReplyDeleteI picked up Soho Peach yesterday. It's sheer but does give my lips a peachy tint and it has plenty of golden sparkle.
