BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
In place of the loose glitters that were in the Spring display, we have nail tattoos, and there are also NINE WALGREENS-EXCLUSIVE NAIL COLORS in this mega-display, that you won't find anywhere else.
The Walgreens-exclusive shades are:
- Three "Opalescent Toppers": Bring It Sheer, Sheer Genius, From Sheer To Eternity
- Three "Sheer Jellies": Mimosa, Green With Ivy, Yellow Out There
- Three "Shimmering Sands Textures": Face The Facets, Ruby Mine, Orange Crush
You'll see all of those in moment, but first I want to thank reader candlegraveyard, who provided me with lots of notes about the polishes in this mega-display. I'd also like to thank readers Jeanette and graziaplena, who supplied all of the photos you're going to see here today. They both spotted this display at their local Walgreens stores this week and shared a ton of photos, including some comparisons and swatches! So let's get started.

NOTE: Instead of rehashing what we've already covered in THIS POST, today I'm only going to focus on the nine new Walgreens-exclusive shades. So just to clarify, all of the shades that are in these three counter displays are also in this new Walgreens mega-display. so please click here if you need more info on those polishes.
First, the three Walgreens-exclusive "Opalescent Toppers":

Graziaplena shared a nice comparison:

Cinderella (permanent shade) vs. From Sheer To Eternity
Cinderella is on the left, From Sheer To Eternity on the right. Graziaplena mentioned that the shimmer is cooler, (not pink) in From Sheer To Eternity.

Bring It Sheer
Jeanette swatched Bring It Sheer for us:

Bring It Sheer
Jeanette mentioned that Bring It Sheer contains very subtle purple and green micro-shimmer. So pretty! Again, these are "Opalescent Toppers" and not meant to wear alone--they are quite sheer, and Jeanette needed four coats for what you see above.
Next up, the three Walgreens-exclusive "Sheer Jellies":

Mimosa, Green With Ivy, Yellow Out There

Green With Ivy
Jeanette shared a swatch of Green With Ivy with us:

Green With Ivy
As you can see, this is very true to its name as a "sheer jelly". Jeanette used two coats for what you see above. Also notice the small, thin holo bar glitter. Graziaplena described it as "wispy" and I totally agree.

Mimosa
Jeanette also shared a swatch of Mimosa:

Mimosa
Mimosa is a sheer orange jelly with sparse red bar and hex glitter. Jeanette used two coats for what you see above.

Yellow Out There
Next up, the three Walgreens-exclusive "Shimmering Sands Textures":

And last but not least, the nail tattoos (I believe these are Walgreens-exclusives as well):

I think that about covers it! Please check back soon for more swatches of the Sinful Colors Summer 2014 shades (I purchased just more of the new colors that are not exclusive to Walgreens and I'm so excited to swatch them for you!).
This new Walgreens mega-display should be popping up at all Walgreens locations soon (if you haven't already seen it at your local stores). So keep your eyes peeled for it!
Thanks SO much to readers graziaplena, Jeanette and candlegraveyard for the wonderful information and photos. I could never have made sense of this display without you ladies!

Tempted by the tats and the textures since I missed out on the previous collection. Hoping none of those are Zoya dupes. Going to have to make time to stop by my lucky Walgreens today. Thanks for sharing G!
ReplyDeleteiam going to get the green with ivy and the jellies (except the yellows which looks odd on me) and the sheer ones..thank you so much for the post..i picked the fig and few others during the last time sale..hoping to pick these with a sale but i might not be able to resist until then.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that this is all in one big display. Sometimes my Walgreens doesn't get every single small display so I end up missing out on certain polishes. The toppers here remind me of the spring 2014 Sally Hansen CSM that were ballet themed. Thanks for the great pics and swatches!
ReplyDeleteMore temptation!
ReplyDeleteOohh, thank you for all of the great photos and comparisons! Looks like those are a few of the sand textures from the Holiday collection last year-- I hope they release some new colors in this finish soon, loved those!
ReplyDeleteGotta get those sheer jellies! That green is gorgeous!! *.*
ReplyDeleteI picked up a few colors today. I had from Sheer to Eternity in my hand but put it down. I think I will go back for all three sheets. I wasn't impressed with the "tattoos" so I passed them by.
ReplyDeleteHmmm I wonder how much the nail tattoos cost.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of them mimosa one in the bottle but not so much on the nail. oh well more money saved!
They r 1·99 each. I just bought them all, doo cute and easy to apply
DeleteThose are the same textures from the Crystal Crushes collection. Those were the first textures I ever bought. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's cool to see that they have moved over to graffiti glitter. These look fun and need to be in my collection!
ReplyDeleteI picked up Ruby Mine and it isn't like the Zoyas. It barely has a rough finish. I'm not complaining because the color is nice and it was almost a one coater. Just don't expect the Zoya and OPI finishes.
ReplyDeleteAre Face the Facets, Ruby Mine, and Orange Crush the same as the Crystal Crushes limited edition versions?
ReplyDeleteI'm here now. All 9 new in front of me. Will exchange for polishes I enter want. Yeah! 99 cents for each!
ReplyDeleteMimosa and yellow out there stayed in the store today. I don't need a yellow, don't like bar glitter, the orange was murky.
ReplyDelete2 bucks each, love em
ReplyDeleteJust posted swatches of the two of the shimmering sands on ig! I'll tag you :)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I really like the look of Green With Ivy! I don't know why, since I do not like sheer polishes at all (I'm lazy and often don't bother removing my nail polish, so my fave nail picks are opaque one-coater cremes that can just go on right over the old polish =D), but go figure...
