If you could magically reduce the price of ONE drugstore beauty product by 50% (forever!), which product would it be?
I would have to go with a product that isn't already very inexpensive, so that rules out products by Wet n Wild, NYC and Jordana. I would also want to choose a product that I use quite regularly. So I'm going to go with my holy grail CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation. It regularly retails for around $9.99 - $12.99 depending on where you buy it, so to be able to ALWAYS have it for around $5 would be amazing (even better when I have CG coupons!).
I agree! That was my first thought because I love that foundation, but it is pricey for being CoverGirl. I always wait and buy it when it is BOGO 50% off AND I have a CG coupon.
ReplyDeleteL'Oreal Pore Vanisher!!! Amazing primer....but does it have to be $20?!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Pond's Luminous BB cream, but is usually $12.99 Where I live, so 50% off would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteRevlon Colorstay Foundation. Not really expensive, but I'm always needing it!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing! The foundation is amazing! There's also those L'Oreal magical face products that are super expensive.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Eyestudio quads. Those suckers are $10 each and they are always coming out with new LE ones. I've bought seven just in the last month. Adds up quick.
ReplyDeleteI would choose l'Oréal telescopic carbon black because it's 11$... not that much expensive, I know!!! But still, this for 5,50$ ?? Heck yeah! :)
ReplyDeleteSally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes! To have them be always around $4 instead of around $8 would be so amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Lumene products! the face serum in particular.
ReplyDeletebut if you meant makeup related then I'd have to go with NYX setting sprays!
Wrinkle cream, for sure!
ReplyDeleteL'oreal Youth Code Line with the new Olay Regenerist in close second (to when I reach the dreaded Big XX yrs of age). :-)
ReplyDeletedon't dread "old" age, it's a privilege denied many. Speaking as a 58 yr young "old" woman, I'll take the fine lines that are now accompanied by sheer wisdom over the smooth face and impulsiveness of youth any day. : )
DeleteI would have to go with either the CG Outlast foundation or the CG Lash Blast mascara- I never buy it because it is close to 10$! I find that outrageous for drugstore mascara.
ReplyDeleteNeutrogena or ROC anti-aging skin care products.
ReplyDeleteseconding the comment on Lumene - their BB cream is my favorite face product around, BB or foundation or otherwise, but it's 15 bucks! still 1000% worth it, because something that gives me such good coverage for my acne scarring and also doesn't slide off my gross oily face is priceless.
ReplyDeletePantene Expert Collection Age Defy Advanced Thickening Treatment - a miracle worker for my thinning hair but it's $20 for 4.2 ounces and I'm going to be buying it a lot!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of the CG 3-in-1, too. It's a good match for my skin and does a great job with coverage. If I had a second option I wouldn't mind that Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair night cream being reduced. $20 is a bit steep for a drugstore product.
ReplyDeletePhysician's Formula products, more specifically the Sexy Booster blushes. They're long-time favorites of mine! I don't have an Ulta or drugstore that have occasional sales anywhere near me, so my only option is WalMart. It's still $10-$12!
ReplyDeleteLoreal miracle blur!
ReplyDeleteOlay Regenerist Regenerating Serum -- miracle in a bottle!
ReplyDeleteCotton rounds-They're already cheap, but I use them more than anything else.
