Also, I'm hearing that some of you are still spotting various Wet n Wild limited edition palettes at your Dollar Trees (like the ones I posted about back in November), so keep your eyes peeled for those.
Today I have new sightings to share with you, thanks to three lovely readers. First up, from reader Liz:

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips at Dollar Tree
(retail: $10 each; Dollar Tree price: $1 each)
Liz said that she spotted ten different designs at her Dollar Tree, and she was nice enough to share this pic of the four designs she purchased. I don't need to tell you what an awesome deal this is for $1 each--I'm wondering if they're getting rid of these to make room for the new packaging that we saw in the Summer 2014 Limited Edition Salon Effects? If any of you have seen that new packaging in the core display, I'd love to know, I still don't know if that new packaging style is actually taking the place of the original little boxes...I guess we'll have to wait and see!
PS: I seem to get asked this every time I post about Salon Effects, so just in case you're a new reader, I reviewed these HERE back when they first came out (2011), and they're still may favorite nail strips at the drugstore.
AND DON'T FORGET: Dollar Tree accepts manufacturer's coupons, so if you have any $1 off Sally Hansen manufacturer's coupons lying around, that means FREE nail strips (all you'll pay is sales tax).
Next up, from reader Jessica:

Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers at Dollar Tree
(Retail: 8 each; Dollar Tree price: $1 each)
Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers at Dollar Tree
(Retail: 8 each; Dollar Tree price: $1 each)
Jessica spotted Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers at her Dollar Tree a little while back and was nice enough to share this pic with us. The Fashion Prints Collection came out at the same time as the Color Show Sequins polishes, back in October 2012--you can see my original post here.
And from reader Sonika:

Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers at Dollar Tree
(Retail: 8 each; Dollar Tree price: $1 each)
Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers at Dollar Tree
(Retail: 8 each; Dollar Tree price: $1 each)
Sonika was nice enough to share this pic with us of the two designs she purchased at her local Dollar Tree--she said that her store had several different designs available.
Again, DON'T FORGET that Dollar Tree accepts manufacturer's coupons, so if you have any $1 off Maybelline manufacturer's coupons lying around, that means FREE nail stickers (all you'll pay is sales tax).
Thanks so much, Liz, Jessica and Sonika, for the great sightings and pics. I really appreciate it!
The Dollar Tree in my town is soooo lame! If they had the SH Salon Effects I would flip! That would be the most incredible beauty score ever since those are upwards of $10. And they are the best nail strips, IMO, and I've tried pretty much every brand. Thanks for the info. I'll be on the lookout for these. :D
ReplyDeleteUghh, sounds like my dollar tree... The "beauty" section we have is very minimal and sad. It's always the same stuff! I've seen people find amazing things at dollar trees across the country, but mine is best for kitchenware. :(
DeleteI love the SH Nail Strips! I only put polish over the glitter ones because they don't last very long without it. The neon ones are the hardest to get off. If these are at Dollar Tree... run!
ReplyDeleteI went to Dollar Tree and Big Lots today (they are next door to each other). I saw the SH strips at Dollar Tree, and Big Lots had the Maybelline strips. I didn't like the SH options but bought a package of the Maybelline strips. Can't wait to try them!
ReplyDeleteoh MAN. Those are the little chickie nail wraps I've been looking for everywhere
ReplyDeleteLol, I still have the emery board with that design...sooo cute, hope you find them.
DeleteI've seen these 2 nail strips, and some L'oreal "lingerie" style ones at my local Dollar Trees in San Jose, CA.
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaaaaaant
ReplyDeleteI am going to on the look out for these at both Dollar Tree and Big Lots. I actually bought the Maybelline in Metal Prism and even though they are totally flat, they look 3 dimensional! I actually cute them into strips and and it looked like a line a studs across my nail! Very cool! Alot of times I take these strips and cut them or even use a hole punch and punch out little shapes, likes stars, hearts, rabbits, diamonds etc. great for experimenting with for nail art!
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome ideas for using nail strips!
DeleteWhen I was at my Dollar Tree two days ago, I saw two L'Oreal 'holographic' eyeshadows in King's Ransom and Princess Jade. I've only used King's Ransom and it is a beautiful gold with a slight pink shift (wearing it today paired with Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette).
ReplyDeleteThe following is not my blog but here's some pics and swatches:

My nearest DT had some PF baked wet/dry shadows, which didn't appeal to me. I did find a lot of Profusion eyeshadows, quartets and bigger, including some that were at Walgreens before Christmas. I found a quad with a gorgeous taupe and a peachy-pink shade in the mix, so I'm content.
ReplyDeleteMy DT didn't have any Maybelline strips but had tons of SH nail polish strips. I picked up the love letter, the solid black and black and white musical notes. :)
