Spotted: NEW Limited Edition Fall 2013 Wet n Wild Fergie Collection

Have you seen the new Wet n Wild Limited Edition Fergie Collection yet? We've got two new creme liner shades, a new primer and more! Huge thanks to reader Kayla for these photos--she spotted this end-cap display at Walgreens and was nice enough to share some pics:

Um, you know I love the Fergie Take On The Day For My Primas primer, but now there's a shimmer version? Sweet! If you're a shimmery eyeshadow lover, this could possible help take your shimmer to a whole other level. Exciting!

The palette on the right (above) looks sort of similar to the Summer 2013 Shades of the Hamptons palette, no?

Now I know that the eyeshadows above actually say "limited edition" on the packaging, and the words "limited edition" appear several times throughout the actual end-cap display. However, I'm not sure if the new creme liners or primer are actually limited edition, or if they'll be added to the core line at some point. I'll do my best to find out and update this post if I hear anything. In the meantime, if you see this display and you want anything here, I would grab it while you can, just in case the liners and primer are NOT going to be added to the core line.

Have you spotted this new Fergie collection at your local Walgreens yet? Thoughts?

Thanks so much, Kayla, for the great photos! I really appreciate it!

  2. I'd love it if that purple was really that bright.

  3. Oh my goodness the original Wet n wild primer is my s*@t!!! I can't wait to try the shimmer one, I hope I can find it!

  4. That cobalt liner looks veeeery promising...I'd have to see it in person to determine if it's actually my favorite shade of blue, though. It's so hard to find cosmetics in the electric/cobalt blue that I love so much D: They always end up being too dark, too sheer, or too dull lol.

  5. Interested to see a swatch of the primer, I really like the original. At first I thought "shimmer..meh" but it might be nice for really basic liner only type of days. I bought the original very soon after it's release, and have used only it since then both on the lid and under the eye (I always prime my concealer as well), and I'm aallmmoosst out. It's like never ending though, every day I think it's done, but am able to squeeze out enough to do my eyes.

That blue liner is seriously bright, wow.

Sigh.. if only the shadows were good. I don't understand why they keep making more for this line when they are such poor quality. It's so frustrating because we all know they can make fantastic shadows. The Flora and Fauna were not that great.. and the Pop Art's aren't either.. WnW has been so hit or miss this year.

    1. That's my biggest concern too. The palettes look colorful but the qualities of the previous Fergie collection has me running the other way.

I'll be waiting for reviews before deciding on anything.

    2. I've never had any problems with wet n wild eyeshadows, and I've used almost all of them. But with any eyeshadow whether it be drugstore, indie, or high end, I ALWAYS use a primer and a sticky base. Problem solved! Never have issues with poor pigmentation or fall out.

  6. Definitely getting one of the liners, the problem will be choosing? What do you think complements brown eyes best, cobalt or purple? >.<

  8. I have liked WnW's cream liners in the past. However, they do dry up faster than others. Now, the shadows....will be in my basket!!!

  10. I'm interested to see if the primer's decent. I'm pretty exclusively a UD primer user because I first preferred Sin, but then Greed came out and I use that. Nyx's shimmery primer didn't work for me.

Wouldn't mind a cheaper solution, though I go through primer quite slowly and scored two tubes of Greed from an Ulta deal a few months ago at half off, so I might not need one. Options are still nice!

  11. I will say I like the song "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" or whatever it's called so maybe this primer will be as nice as the original. The grape liner sounds nice but I have yet to try a WnW gel liner. Why do they keep putting out these palettes if the general idea is "they're awful"?

  12. Wow! Super excited about the shimmer primer. My hg es primer Is the fergie wnw primer- it has replaced my ud& too faced!
I am not a huge fan if the es palettes- they are SO chalky, especially lighter and matte colors. Some darks are ok, but I wound up returning all that I bought. What's up with the different formula than usual wnw??

  13. I was so disappointed with the pigmentation of the last fergie eyeshadows I'm gonna wait until I see some swatches.

  14. In an interview Fergie said she tested the eyeliners herself to make sure they would hold up well and not fade, smear etc. She ran on a treadmill while wearing them and she said they looked perfect when she was done! I am going to need eyeliner soon and I plan to get these! I really am glad to see the colors!

  16. I want the brown and blue gel liners! I would like WnW to stop with these Fergie palettes they are such a let down.

  19. I'm a little late to the party here, but I just found the Shimmer eyeshadow primer at my local Walgreens store last week. I'm in love with it!! I like it so much that I went out and bought a second one, LOL. I wish it weren't limited edition; it's a great product!

  20. I bought the Shimmer primer months ago, and let me tell you, that primer is sparkle and frost city! The stuff stays put!! Less is more with the simmer one. The best way I can describe the frost is almost like the liquid version of L'oreal Infallible 24 hour eyeshadow in Amber rush. Granted not as "pink", but pretty frosty like amber rush! A definite "night time, let's go clubbing" type of primer!
